Hi, is that an extended scale length bass to hold the tuning? Asking because I'm planning on purchasing a bass to assist with recording.

It’s not no, just a standard bass (it’s challenging for low tuning to be honest)

Great video! I came across this whilst looking up how to program metal drums in logic. Not sure if I missed this in the video, but what drum kit are you using here? Are you doing anything special with the kit to get those sounds?

I use Superior Drummer with the Metal Foundry add on and then it’s just mixing :)
