Hello, I'm Roger, I love experiments. I build miniature models of dams, to describe how dangerous a dam failure is, how it causes flash floods and disasters, how the power of water is much greater than we have ever thought about it. If you have any challenges for me, please leave them in the comments below. Thank you!

Unfortunately, that waterproof cutaway deserves most of the credit there. It held this thing better than it would be by itself.
This isn’t exactly a realistic scenario but for the sake of future projects… having a developed layer of topsoil, mainly grass, goes a long way in preventing erosion. More specifically on hillsides.
This was too much fun to watch, i especially loved the part where the water flowed through the bunker and took out the entire hill - satisfying to say the least!
If you’d like some plants that don’t take a lot of work and could simulate trees/bushes/greenery, moss is always an option. Spider plants grow pretty fast and their root system can spread out a lot. (They won’t look like trees though which is a bummer.)
Yeah! Love the new layout with bridge and waterway below the dam outlet. Once again the damage and carnage is epic.
its always scary how fast they go from being mostly functional to completely gone
Collapse is faster than construction, always
@@PowerOfWater83is this safe for them? Im worried
That was neat. Thankfully, most people know not to build on top of a sand dune. The underground bunker turned out to be a death trap. At least the people up top could try to swim to safety.
This seems like a better lesson in slope stabilization and erosion then anything else
Imagine seeing that happen in real life. Or worse, imagine being in those building when they collapse
most doomsday bunkers would be made of lead or stone, not wood and covered with sand, that and buildings are bolted down to the foundation using J. Bolts so they don't get pushed over easily (note that houses in major storms get weakened by damage first, not instantly pushed over)
I have a suggestion for a future dam: You should make multiple dams in a row and each one is different. For example, maybe one is entirely made out of bricks.
This guy is still living even though he is nostagic, legend!
Im actually impressed by how long the dam just made out of sand held up.
😢❤,
would it be possible for you to put a thin darker layer ( darker sand or other material) to demonstrate the subsidence that causes the initial cracking on top in this type of set up?
I will keep watching these videos until the end of Time
I think what I learned is that you can expect the house to have significant damage before water ingress on the bunker
Better then any Micheal Bay disaster movie - hands down
This was fascinating to watch. Thank you for making this video.

Love watching your vids, very relaxing. I love how you try to make the scene realistic. And who cares if it doesn’t react like a real dam, we just want to see the thing collapse !!
This was fun to watch. Now I'm thinking more sandbox games (no pun intended) need occasional flooding and earthquakes that would temporarily or permanently shape the landscape of the game.
This is bad for the animals they need water
It’s true your right
They stoped moving there dea
But they are gay
Nah it’s fine they can survive 2 days out of water
@@sadiyyarazac7013 oh oke than it’s fine 👍😀😀
Grande creatività complicato con poco hai creato un effetto unico nel suo genere
These are really enjoyable to watch, definitely would like to see some more videos featuring the same situation but with different materials to see what makes it more resistant to structural failure.
Immensely entertaining even if it does lack the control test needed to be a fair experiment.
Lol, the water was so strong it moved some of the Bridge
This is why we tie brick off to the OSB and lay weep vents every so often.
you are an engineer
Maybe if u applied simple physics by creating a curved dam with a slope, it would work.
I will try it in the next video
You really need to start using something that sticks those bricks together
Man, I used to watch this kind of stuff when I was like
I recently finished the mystery block and it’s my favorite
I like how he looked both ways
thanks for posting. a few times it looked life size the way the water and bricks were behaving to me at least
Hahha is it really like that? you're really funny
That would be terrifying
This was so dramatic that I almost cried for the giant sea monster down below the dam!
Do you like sea monsters?
Love the timing with the beat drop !¡!
this was cool. showed stuff the human eye cant catch by itself.
An experiment shows subtle consciousness
I love the dam the perfect sea monster of destruction.
If you always use sand, surely it's always going to end the same way... any kid who's tried to block a stream at the beach with a sand dam will tell you it will inevitably fail.
I keep watching these, even though I get a sense of impending doom every time.
It is mildly interesting to make stories in your head 😅
Finally found a lego creator
The most epic battle sea monster
Better than many Hollywood productions.
thank you
Better than some movies
make it in the form of animation show tsunami is coming and splashing on big buildings, lightning falling on trees, show any blast which will give real life effects. i know its quite hard but i think u can do it very well.
You should ve gave us a perspective in what scale this is happening. Like putting a hairbrush in the sand will do
Please follow me, I will do the same for the next video
There is no other video that are better then this
The wall needs to get progressively thicker the deeper the water is
That's right
Imagine seeing this in youre town that would be frustrating
400!
Thank you for showing me I love Lego so much
the bricks looks so smooth..
Thankyou
Man this video is interesting
Some real dirt would bea nice touch, too, instead of using sand. The outcome would differentiate noticably
Probably so
Nice video! 👍
The ending was SIIIIIICK
I wonder if you create a diorama dam breach... minus the dam? It looks more like a flood, so I would probably suggest a diorama flood?
These videos always brighten my day. Thank you!
I love hiw you entertained us by playing them to
Why is this so exciting
I stumbled across this channel totally on accident and now Im addicted. HELP!!
Thank you so much
FUn fact : this is the first time we cheer for power of water
I love how the house isn’t like one big piece it actually breaks also love the vids keep up the great work
When it comes to his son that’s where he draws the line
Mario:saving bowsers sweet sweet pookie pie
This dam was the coolest when you looked back at the dam
I spent a lot of time building it
I feel sad for the fish and the eel
You should construct buttress column support to your mini dam
Ok bro
Lol you make sea monster look very fun 😂
these are so satisfying for no reason at all
I think the floods interest you
This is my favorite video EVER!!!
I love how dramatic it is
thank you
I don’t know how can one hole leaking water can cause this much destruction and how did it repair itself too
And it turned out great, as per usual!
This is actually a fire video
I ❤️ love ❤️ these there so satisfying
AMAZING MONTAGE
The scary thing is it all happens so quickly so you dont have tike to react.
The real thing will be more terrifying, because the power of water is limitless
If you install the turbine lower inside that tube you will generate more power
Yes I will make one
Wow your creation is amazing. I love it. Ive completed a cultivator science project ! thanks you
I have a new habbit. Watching vids such like this.
Thank you for your love for me
ALL ANIMALS MUST NEED WATER
This is awesome! Please keep doing these movies, theyre great!
You should make aftermath pics!
Memories ❤️
Imagine this happening in real life
will be very strong and scary
Imagine people placing their homes downstream 😂
Wow that was soo cool
Ive watched a few of your videos and they are neat
This is amazing- well done!!!
Great videos! I have a recommendation, do you think you could show the aftermath of the destruction in your next video?
You are so underrated bro.
Nice vid I LOVE LEGOs I literally have SO MANY SETS but i think you have more
I saw that when I was little :D
I was also in a flood zone as a child
This was an amazing YoutTube video. Gotta say.
The bricks aren’t sealed, of course it’s not going to hold anything lmao
because the amount of water is much smaller than reality
wow looks like real 👍👍
Bro eats not look real it is real
This is amazing!!!
They cost a fortune but they are easy to build
The editing is amazing
