Fun fact to make this and him even more impressive for you: Aaron is actually blind in 1 eye and fully colorblind in the other eye. So he’s not only super talented as both a drummer and a singer, but he’s also performing both exceedingly well on very limited vision.
Aaron deserves sooo much more credit than hes given. When is the world going to give that to him?!
Love Aaron for his energy and his ability to play FOR songs as opposed to just noise. Huge fan. Fav track is writing on the walls, really fun to play

Aaron Gillespie is such an amazing drummer,and he’s also an all around musical genius. His solo act was great.
This drummer is GENIOUS, songwriter also, amazing , its about the feeling, this guy deserves all the credit, it seems like you have to be inside prog thing to be a super drummer, Its about the feeling , this guy deserves all the best, Im a nobody.
I saw them in Brixton for taste of chaos around 2006 with saosin, taking back Sunday etc they were absolutely incredible. Favourite drummer has to be Alex Rodriguez from saosin, has a crazy style
As far as i remember, there are 3 metalcore bands that have drummer + vocalist at that time. Atreyu, Underoath and from autumn to ashes. Francis mark of FATA is my favorite of them all. Short stories with tragic ending still a haunted song until now
I saw them in Atlanta with Saosin and The Devil Wears Prada. Unforgettable performance!
I have pretty severe PTSD for tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and can not be in crowds. Underoath and maybe one other band are the only bands I’d try my best to get through to see live.
Aaron is my favorite drummer. I was rooting for him to be the new guy for Foo Fighters when Taylor Hawkins tragically passed away. He's so much better than most people understand.

This dude, Aaron Gillespie. Not necessarily a drummer(obviously) he is for his band[he's actually a musician]. He wrote His other band, "The Almost" 1st record "Southern Weather" His
Quotation "My attempt to write rock music"(wrote and played all of the instruments in that 1st record(southern weather). Favorite Music Video/Song from them. "You're Ever So Inviting". Google the video, it's "sic" in my opinion.

And to top it off, Arron has severe anxiety and other set backs. He kills on everything!
During their breakup, Aaron used to give free drum lessons. Would have been such an awesome experience. Also, they really are INCREDIBLE live.

Used to think Aaron was the best drummer. Now I know. Went to a homecoming show in tampa early 2000s. when the sun sleeps closer was huge.
