Underoath is one of the most passionate bands you will ever see. I saw them almost 20 years ago when I was a freshman in high school and it changed my life and my interest in music forever.
Dude. He is so solid. Not only is he good as hell but he also shows that he enjoys it and he really gets into it. Imagine all he did was play and didn't move around so much.
Exactly! I’ve thought the same thing. That’s one of the biggest things I like about him, and the reason why I didn’t care for the drummer that replaced him for a while when Aaron left underoath. But he was still amazing and I loved that album but it wasn’t Aaron
My hero for the last eleven years. Still awesome to see him play like he was in his early twenties. Seeing them front row during the reunion was the best night of my life.
Aaron is a beast, considering he does vocals (sometimes very demanding), while drumming as well. :) So thank you for this video, it is nice to see this song from a different perspective!
As a drummer, I'm a huge fan of Abe Cunningam's energy but Aaaron's is killer as well. Also, hearing the audience sing the lyrics through the drum mics? Powerful.
I NEVER thought I'd be able to see these guys live. They were one of my favorite bands when I was younger. So glad I got to see them and experience their amazing shows!
This song is the reason why i started to like screamo music and my drum playing style changed since i knew this guy. It was 2006 when the first time i saw underoath on jctv
I remember I started to play drums when I was a teenager just because I was too obsessed with Aaron ❤️ Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to practice nor my own instrument so had to decline. Always had in my heart to play properly, maybe not as cool as Aaron but to the point I could say:: I don’t suck… lol
He's probally played this song 10000 times but still has energy playing it that's cool. A lot of people loose that energy for old songs. Blink 182 did good keeping that energy with repetitive songs speaking of a band haha
Never let Aaron borrow your cymbals.... It's dangerous business.
HAHAHAHAHAH
And your drum stick
Best comment
Meinl Kampf
Imagine him with 16" and 18" cymbals lmao
So much energy - dude is a monster.
That made absolutely no sense.
Daniel Marcoulis he is saying that he plays with a ton of energy and that he is a monster on the drums
he is awesome,so much energy indeed
should have seen him in his yonger days…
He's the best
I feel like a little kid again every time I listen to them. I miss those days.
That part!!!
Aaron is just out of this world. One of the best drummers out there imo.
Agree
definitely not technically but hes my favorite definitely
@@jordanpisacreta8655 you'd be surprised by how technical he can be.
Thats how passion is played folks
Hybrid Tech thank you for commenting, you brought me back to this gem.
Underoath is one of the most passionate bands you will ever see. I saw them almost 20 years ago when I was a freshman in high school and it changed my life and my interest in music forever.
I hope youre seeing them on this tour 20 years man!!!!
Aaron hits harder than any drummer ive seen/heard

That scream during his fill at 3:07 is ridiculously cool!

That was an experience. Miss you underoath
Fuck yeah, murdered it! These shows sold out so fast, mad jelly of everyone there.
I concur! lol Aaron is a complete beast! so inspiring to watch!
You can feel the emotion... SO glad they've done this rebirth tour!! \m/
So many drummers fill every moment with something to keep things moving. Even Aaron’s pauses are heavy and moving.
aaron is the reason I learned to play the drums
Nathan Lopez likewise

Im sorry.
Love the high energy, especially the guy at 2:52.

Bro… 3:06 he ads a fill. This is one of those nuanced things I love about Aaron: he always underplays, buy check out that speed and dexterity !
My hero for the last eleven years. Still awesome to see him play like he was in his early twenties. Seeing them front row during the reunion was the best night of my life.
What a TANK!! It was a dream come true to finally get to see him here!
Aarons swag is always imitated but never duplicated
He's so inspirational, can't stop watching Aaron play!!
3:05 slayed it!
3
that fill was so clean you could hear the satisfaction through Aaron's scream lol
So glad to see Aaron back in the band. I got to see them at Warped Tour in 2009 or 2010 and it was amazing
Incredible performance
Aaron is a beast, considering he does vocals (sometimes very demanding), while drumming as well. :) So thank you for this video, it is nice to see this song from a different perspective!
Sheesh man. Chills!

Dude AARON YOU ARE A FRICKING GODSEND thank you for all you do, and bringing people closer to Christ through the best form of music.
I just love his use of the snare. So much ability and talent.
As a drummer, I'm a huge fan of Abe Cunningam's energy but Aaaron's is killer as well. Also, hearing the audience sing the lyrics through the drum mics? Powerful.
YESSSSSS. Aaron is a fucking savage I love this so much
Noy a big fan of this style of music, but what a brilliant drummer! Power and control, a very rare combination!
That was such a great show. Aaron is a beast!
I NEVER thought I'd be able to see these guys live. They were one of my favorite bands when I was younger. So glad I got to see them and experience their amazing shows!
I watch this at least twice a day.
We appreciate your service.
Don't thank me...thank your recruiter
I was front row on in the pit against the rail for this show and it was the best live performance I’ve ever been to
It’s dangerous business being this damn good on that kit
Aaron behind a kit isn't just drumming...it's art
A true Drummer! I hope that my son Aaron can play like this!!!
Aaron is an absolute beast!
I wouldn’t be the drummer I am today without Aaron.
So much energy, Underoath slay it every time.
One of the best moshpits @ underoath shows.
so much passion this is why Aaron is my favorite drummer
I remember going on a mission trip through the Midwest. And he ran my small group after the service. It was dope.
I was there! This show was incredible! As a drummer it's awesome to see this angle, thanks for uploading!
Dude the energy gives me chills when he stands on the set. Want to flip my table and push someone over. Damn I miss live shows lol
Thank you for this! More please!
That boy loves him some triplet fills and by god I love them too.
Dang! Best live performances I’ve seen were with Underoath!
Just saw them in kc and couldnt take my eyes off Aaron! So much energy!
I could listen to this all day looooong!!!
The MAN is back! Loving it
what a savage. drummers never rest.
dude puts so much energy into his live drumming, must really love living in the moment. Looks like so much fun! This song is a blast just to jam to!
This song is him. Dudes a savage!
He's a musical role model in so many ways
Love the drum cam point of view. Good stuff! Thanks.
Desolate Soul Thanks for watching!
that snare!!!! I'm in love. that thing is a beast.
This song is the reason why i started to like screamo music and my drum playing style changed since i knew this guy. It was 2006 when the first time i saw underoath on jctv
Wow that's awesome! More please. i love aaron gillespie :)
Aaron is an incredible Artist!!!! Keep the hard work!!!!
That was insane!
Philip Seymour Hoffman killin it on the stix
I absolutely love the rapid stick clicks to stay on time
I've always wondered if singing drummers use a metronome? It can also interfere with singing and hitting the notes?
Literally a champion of band drums; he is just so good! And he can sing... what a beast lol
Aaron is just awesome love this guy
Never gets old. Tim comes in and dives off lol. Dude still rips
I was at this gig and it was great!!!
Thank you so much!!! Aaron is such a badass, I love his style
0:44 That is Aaron's Face Melting Drum Killer Fill In, i use it a lot in my gigs. THANK'S Aaron.
What a beast. Love listening to him.
It's cool seeing their pov from the behind perspective, looking forward to the crowd as well.

AGREED!
Voices? How about Sleepers?! The chorus fill really does me in.
2:39 *sees Aaron stand up* OH ITS ABOUT TO BE LIT
2:51 is one of a few highlights on my life

Those fills are so slick.

He must go through sticks and cymbals constantly... love it!
I watch this at work every week
hey man, god bless yall....
This band defined my childhood.
Incredible
One of my favorite songs!
Such an important band
His cymbals needs to go in therapy after one intro... what a power
My fav, my fav ❤
Never let Aaron borrow your kit 😂 One of the cleanest drummers you will ever hear
It's nice to see how he's progressed further even while being out of his most toured-with band.
His solo worship album is amazing.
ikr
+Johan Carlbom whats up man, just looking at a legend. any covers coming soon :)
Cómo se llama ese álbum ?
That crowd though 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿
I remember I started to play drums when I was a teenager just because I was too obsessed with Aaron ❤️
Unfortunately I didn’t have the time to practice nor my own instrument so had to decline.
Always had in my heart to play properly, maybe not as cool as Aaron but to the point I could say:: I don’t suck… lol
What a fucking great performance. So much energy from the band 👌 class band
So great :D!
All that monster energy and axe.
Welcome back guys! :)
Here in 2021🙋
2022
freakin smooth chops
He's probally played this song 10000 times but still has energy playing it that's cool. A lot of people loose that energy for old songs. Blink 182 did good keeping that energy with repetitive songs speaking of a band haha
Aaron is my favorite drummer. Especially given that this genre of music is over-filled with double bass pedal but Aaron does not partake.
