Firstly, thanks so much for the very kind words, I am a complete fanboy of yours, so to know that I was in some way an influence in your decision to start your amazing channel, it very humbling. I really have to come and meet you guys, but I am not a fan of the camera, because I would make a fine figure of a man such as Jo, look like Karen Carpenter in my current condition 😉
For anybody that hasn’t tried doing this, I can’t stress how difficult it is to try to dissect a fragrance. Not only at first sniff, but also on paper. You guys did amazing, and I didn’t doubt you would. Not many videos that can captivate me for 53 mins and wish that it went on longer. Absolutely loved the video and thanks so much for being such good sports and doing this. If ever you fancy doing it again , or any other types of videos that I can help you with, just shout.
And fair play for putting the other links, as I said to Jo when we talked about doing the video, it was nothing to do with advertising and everything to do with me just wanting to get your take on some stuff I didn’t think you would’ve tried before. Thanks guys, love and hugs xx 😉

Kouros is such a classic, intimidating yet addictive. Note it came out in 1981, not 1984.

Just wanted to say I got my sample of 1725 by Histoires De Parfum and it is very elegant smooth refined barbershop 💈 smell. Love at first sniff, definitely going to get a full bottle. Lol sorry! Just had to let you guys know

in the 80s we had the BEST....every scent was in there, its all watered down ish now,

The original Gucci Pour Homme (1976) by Guy Roberts is the best!
Can't believe that there isn't a clone of Envy to this date, except Carven which comes pretty close to it. Gucci should bring it back for sure. They'll cash in on it. Million times better than their modern releases.
I wonder if it’s anything to do with the fact that Envy came out when Tom Ford was in charge, and they seemed to be discontinued when he left.
Want to try then and now? Try Polo green.....the stuff from the 80s eclipses the new stuff. It's not even close....
I found a 100ml bottle of Gucci Envy but done know what I should pay or offer for it. Any thoughts?
I gave away an almost full bottle of Envy...if I'd known it'd be discontued. 😒 I also had Santal by Floris. 😒

As a Kouros lover, Could you review Sang Bleu by Le Galion please? I've never smelled it and I'm curious if it's worth pursuing over regular Kouros. "Sang Bleu opens with that herbal citrus mixture so common in those 70’s powerhouses. All of the usual suspects are present; lemon, orange, rosemary, and tarragon. M Vacher ups the ante with a fascinating push-and-pull of eucalyptus and artemesia. These two whirl on that dance floor provided by the citrus and herbs. The floral heart is primarily geranium and violet. To keep it from getting too feminine M. Vacher throws in a fistful of clove and galbanum. This turns everything a satisfying shade of green to set up the chypre finish. That comes courtesy of sandalwood, patchouli, cedar, and vetiver.
