@@DrRowe Hi, I keep getting this feeling when I lift up my left leg (particularly behind me) like something wants to crack behind my glut, but despite some of my best efforts, I haven't been able to crack it. I thought it was my hip joint, but I so far haven't been able to crack that. And then I thought it was my SI joint, but when I did it, it cracked in a different place than I thought it was. Do you know what it could be?

Humble suggestion-have a handy anatomical chart and point at the area you are naming. Many of us? (Me!) aren’t always certain of the medical name of the area that bothers us…but I DO know WHERE the pain is. Just a suggestion. I appreciate your videos! 🌷

No no - not an anatomy lesson. A poster hanging on the wall that is simply an anatomical graphic of the human body and maybe u point to the area. if you take the time to show the exercises, show us the area on an anatomical chart that’s hanging on the wall. I get it. You don’t have time for that. It was just a suggestion. Not a demand!

Dr. Rowe, I use this exercise a lot, and it always gives me relief; however, I never hear or feel a pop. My understanding is that the popping or cracking sound is the release of air in the synovial fluid surrounding the joint(s). (Similar to knuckles or knees cracking.) I thought it would be helpful for people to know that their joints can move back into place without a sound occurring. Do you agree? I can’t thank you enough for the relief this exercise gives me!

Search for "activator chiropractic near me" and see who comes up. Then, read the reviews and vet them for realism! Or, consider atlas orthogonal chiropractic. That is all about the atlas joint (top of spine where it connects to the skull) and it's done using an extremely gentle burst of energy that you can barely feel at all. No twisting or danger of damage. Both of these techniques work super well and involve no twisting or danger. And a good doctor or health care person will absolutely listen to you if you don't want your head or neck involved at all. If they don't listen, just walk out. Good luck!

Never, ever let anyone manually twist your neck. The activator that may chiros use now is amazing.

WOW... My hip-joint popped the first time I did this..!! After five reps I feel like I did a bunch of sideways leg-lifts...!! I also feel as if this affected my lower-back as well, like I just did a lower-back workout, WEIRD..!! Guess we don't naturally use those muscles much, THANKS AGAIN DOC..!! SUCH A BLESSING 😊👍🏻

I discovered this technique by riding motorcycles. I scrubbed my tank with my knees and it popped. I have found several ways to reproduce this technique because of that day. Lol

My physical therapist taught me this too but uses a belt around the knees for the pulling apart phase. That works well for me ‘cause my arms aren’t that strong right now. Thanks for the video!

The irony of this is that the type of chair he is sitting in, is the type of office chair that killed my back.
Also, because of said back pain I appreciate these videos.

@@DrRowe I did all of your exercises, that I prayed would help me, just before I went to bed last night, and I swear🙏🏻 No joke. It was the first time I woke, and I just realised? I woke in no pain, and especially in the lower back region🤍
You’ve a fan! I look forward to watching the rest😊
Considering it is raining, and too? Very cold here of late… (I am from Sydney, Australia) and I’ve arthritis. So, for me? Waking pain free. But only to acknowledge now, after reading your reply (which I am most grateful) that I only realised? That my stretches( which I could feel) legitimately worked👏🏻👏🏻💯🥰
Again? Thank you for your wonderful uploads! I’m over the moon!!😀

You can skip all this, hook you right foot around the back of your right ankle until you feel resistance in your lower back and then try to pull your knees apart. Then POP. So refreshing.

I saw my chiropractor and was fine until i did a resistance band workout for the hips and legs and ever since it’s been hurting. Will definitely try this. If nothing else it would probably help strengthen the muscles to help support those joints

Tip: Many people when told to correct their posture actually curve it inwards rather than straightening it. To get a properly straight spine shape, pretend there's something balanced on your head that you're pushing upwards against. Or, actually put something on your head. lol.
