After *months* of trying everything to fix my shoulder impingement, I was getting some improvement, but still not 100%. This literally just fixed it in minutes. My range of motion is complete, and I made it through a whole work day pain free. I'm going to keep doing this stretch between clients. You may or may not have just saved my career; you're an actual life saver. Thank you, sincerely 🙏
100% how I am feeling at the moment have been in so much pain in both shoulders and this has made my shoulder far less painful to move. So grateful for seeing this video
Your at home Chiro solutions are the best I have ever seen on RUclips. As a senior suffering from spinal stenosis and arthritis in both knees, your easy to follow directions and low impact exercises seem to helping manage my pain. Thanks Doc.
Thank you! Now I can not only stretch and reset my shoulders but also successfully block the entrance to any room or building - my life is now complete.
Can this excercise be used to help with Kyphosis? I know that that particular condition (forward head, rounded shoulders, upper back pain, stretched rhomboids, weakened chest and core, is degenerative) I wish i had known it was treatable when I was a teenager! Alas, now at 37 am telling myself to stand up straight all day. Doc, would u be so kind as to possibly make a video going into that condition a bit more? Your stretches, I've tried thus far have been more helpful than I was expecting, 👍👍 THANKS!
Dude, I've been experiencing shoulder pain for years. No matter what I did I couldn't relieve the pain until now. The annoying popping has stopped too. Thank you.
OMG! THANK YOU for this! I did this move this morning simply while waiting for coffee to brew, and can now lift my left arm above my head without pain for the first time in years!
Wow, that was awesome. I've had shoulder pain for years, compounded by calisthenics and weight lifting, and it was almost completely aleviated by doing this excercise. Thanks so much, very much appreciated.
Earlier I had to consciously put much effort in Keeping my shoulders straight and not humoed. Now it feels much light , and easier. It has also helped with the pain. Thanks .
You sir have made my Monday a lot better. I've been having excruciating pain on my left shoulder and neck. I spent months trying to find the cause of it until I ended up at a physical therapy and they told me my left shoulder is too forward, and they tried the KT tape which really helps, but I can't do it on my own. I even try yoga and all sort of stretches but it never really fixes the problem. During this pandemic I do not want to go the PT clinic. I was actually looking up how to tape the shoulder at home and came across your video. I did your first stretch exercise 3 sets, and at the second set I didn't feel as sore as the first set, amazing! Thank you, very, very much.
I have always suspected my rhomboid and shoulder tension is from sleeping on my side for long hours. I've been feeling this tight knot for years and this stretch really offered some relief! The stretch definitely felt like the good kind of pain. Awesome instructions. Thank you for this
You’re such a blessing to us all. Thank you sincerely for these videos. I can’t afford insurance but I’m dedicated to my health and firmly believe natural remedies are superior. You’re such an angel for doing these videos for free! Many blessings to you and your family.
I'm not the one to try things I see on youtube but this worked pretty good. I busted my shoulder last week and this provided immediate relieve and the the popping and clicking is gone now. Thanks
Wow!!! A world of difference!!! I was to a point where I couldn’t lift my arms past my shoulders... now I can raise my arms straight up and most importantly, without any pain!!! Outstanding!! Thank you very much for posting this!
Man..much appreciated! starting to get shoulder slouch, mid and lower back pain pretty bad. I've tried just about every stretch but the elbow against the door has started to help me toward feeling much better, thank you!
You are doing great job by * Providing practical exercises which can be followed easily * Exercises without equipments * Exercises can be done without anyone else help at home * Free for everyone * Most important you pick those pain areas from which lots of people suffering and your techniques really works It looks like advertisement but I got relief from your techniques after 3 years of pain near shoulder blade so it's good to write here....Hoping always you will be delivering these kind of videos Also can you make a video on why there is pain near shoulder blade when bending the neck forward with some angle twist....make a video to get rid of that.... thank you so much
Thank you. I've been trying to fix rounded shoulders for 2 years and feel like I've tried every possible stretch that can be googled for rounded shoulders with limited success. This is hands down the most effective I've come across. After just one stretch per side the difference is already night and day 😍 hyped.
Good and fine Sir I want to say a quick thanks. My right shoulder felt like it was rolling forward for a while now and none of the stretches I was doing worked. This did bigtime
Thank you SO MUCH!!!! I have upper cervical issues & every time my neck goes out, my shoulders get stuck like this. My chiropractor usually adjusts them for me but my next appt isn’t for a few days and my shoulders were killing me. This worked instantly. Super gentle & effective. Thank you!!!!!
Hello there Doc! I really want to thank you for the information in this particular video as it changed my life literally overnight. So THANKS A MILLION 🙏 I had been in pain for several months and doing exercises for rounded shoulders. While it did strengthen my neck and arms it but it did not take the pain away. And last night I did what you instructed in the video and I have woken up with significantly less pain. And you can actually see the is more in its natural alignment. So you are godsent! Stay blessed and I wish you all the success going forward. 🤗🙏
Thank you for posting! First try today and immediately felt a subtle little pop that seemed to put the forward shoulder back to where it should be. I have been hearing and feeling a pop/crack every time I would lift a light weight above my head. I just lifted the weight to test and no more pop!
These stretches feel amazing especially after a heavy bench day. I did however feel a little bit of pain in one of my elbows when I did the second stretch you showed
Years of pain... 5 years to be exact and this genuinely fixed my shoulder. Held the position for 2 minutes it was like all my neck and shoulder chest everything just felt better. My first ever time I almost passed out Bc of it, it was like a strong movement . This was life changing and I just want to say thank you. Truly.
Thanks. I've got terrible shoulders(3 surgeries total, 2 on the left, 1 on the right) & although they haven't been bothering me much the last few years...I literally had my left shoulder lock up yesterday as I lifted a coffee mug from a table beside me. I've been in agony since & unable to lift my arm completely. Despite his warnings I'm very well versed in shoulder injuries & know the risk, I performed these stretches & the 2nd one has helped with the impingement. I recently started working out & I didn't realize my scapulas are still weak. Word of advice, don't work out your pecks, neck, & triceps without stretching/strengthening your scapulas first!
My shoulders roll forward and I’ve had pretty serious shoulder, neck, and back pain the last couple years. While I was doing the first one I experienced some pain in my shoulders so I was a little discouraged but held for 30 seconds. Whoa. After doing both of these just once I feel like my shoulders, chest, and upper back has loosened and actually opened up for lack of a better term for the first time in ages. I can still feel the openness 10 minutes later. Being that it’s just 2-4 minutes, free, and convenient I’ll be adding this to my daily routine. Shoulder and neck pain has been a hindrance on my life but I’m feeling optimistic about this!
Really glad I found your channel. I have rounded shoulders and I couldn’t find no one who properly showed me how to roll them back myself. Very appreciated 💪🏾
I’ve been trying to pop/loosen my shoulder for months now and you fixed it in about 30 seconds lol. It definitely makes sense that my shoulder had rolled forward based on my recent activity, thank you!
This helped with my Collar Bone pain, Neck Pain, Trigeminal neuralgia Pain. I complimented my routing with this along with Balasana - which really helped relieve all the built up pressure. Thank you so much.
This is absolutely incredible, the pain I had for 3 months is completely gone, I seriously an speeches as to how well this works. It was like a switch, it was in terrible pain and now it just simply doesn't hurt anymore
I found I have a pinched nerve and scapulothorasic bursitis from all the inflammation and shoulder surgeries on both. I pop in my neck and chest also.. I'm hearing your second stretch. Thanks for all the content you share. Alot of times it helps me understand how to stretch things with my sciatic nerve also.
Just came across your video by chance and that's exactly what I need! Apart from seeing my local chiro, I also need to regularly stretch and bring my left shoulder back and your instruction is clear and easy to follow. Thank you again for sharing this.
wonderful! My shoulders, which I have been worried about for years, have improved! The stubborn round shoulders that didn't heal after almost all the stretches, including the rotator cuff, felt the caput humeri move backwards with the first stretch, so I've been doing this for a week and it's getting better and better. You are a genius! thank you! From Japan
I've had some shoulder pain on my right shoulder. Both of my shoulders were a little bit rounded, but it felt like on the right side the head of the humerus was anterior. I did these exercises for both sides. Now both shoulders are in a better position and the humerus on the right side is not so anterior and feels more loose. What was surprising was that the first first exercise felt equally unpleasant on both sides. Thanks!
This guy is a genius at pinpointing issues and showing simple relief techniques! I’ve benefited greatly on more than one issue already! Thanks so much 😊👍
Dr. Rowe, I am returning here to give you a deep, heartfelt "Thank you!" It occurred to me, last night, that my left shoulder felt better than it has in months, and I honestly think that it was due to practicing what you taught in this video, in combination with other techniques that I have learned from you.
Really really helpful! My shoulder doesn't quite feel in place yet but I can tell this exercise is targeting the right place by how intense and tight the stretch feels. I almost overdid it and tried to force the pop but then you said not to in the video 😂, so now I'll wait a bit before retrying the stretch to not force or traumatize anything
Thanks for this! Been dealing with chronic biceps tendinitis and my left shoulder gets pulled forward continously and everything gets out of whack- neck pain, ROM reduced, rhomboid issues, pain, etc. The first exercise helped and also did not hurt yay - can't get my arms up in position to do the second one but maybe someday
This is AMAZING! Although when I did it , I had a crazy pins and needles feeling down my arm and into my fingers. It's gone now but it did take a while to settle. I think I went too hard, I tend to do that when I find something that actually works. It's seriously like magic. I'm a huge fan of self treatment and have watched countless videos from all the best channels. I've got to say, this one takes the cake for the shoulder reset. The human body is so trippy and body mechanics is so interesting. The principles should be learned by everyone , too many people just give up and deal with it, it's fucking crazy! RUclips is an amazing resource thanks to very talented and careing people such as yourself. Thanks for tip bro!!!
I have struggled with shoulder pain for half a year now, medical treamtents included. This video has helped me more than anything before had. Thanks!!!
one thing that you might like to add would be to simultaneously squeez your scapula while you're going into the motion, the range of motion increases allowing you to get a deeper stretch.
I use the second stretch in the doorway to get a crack/release between the shoulders and sometimes the sternum also by a small but quick thrust forward, if it doesn't go the first time I lower my chin slightly and it normally works 👍. Loving your channel. Thanks
It's hard to explain but what I do is real similar so basically, find something you can push up on while standing that's around waist level, once you find it place both hands infront of you as if you're trying to life yourself up, lean abit forward and somewhat quickly push yourself up and when you do this be sure to keep your bottom half on the ground and you'll feel your spine crack. This decompresses your back and feels amazing
👉👉 Let us know how this worked for you in the comments section. We appreciate it!

Thanks!!!
So glad you found this video and it made a huge difference! Thanks for watching too.

Great to hear it's giving relief, thanks for watching!
Thanks Doc my lower back feels like brand new, god bless you for all your help and info.
Thanks so much for watching!
Man, you have helped me fix so many things in my worn out body.
Thank you!
Glad they're helping and thanks for watching!
The first stretch is phenomenal! Thank you so much
Glad it helped you!
one thing that you might like to add would be to simultaneously squeez your scapula while you're going into the motion, the range of motion increases allowing you to get a deeper stretch.
Thanks for the tip, and also for watching!
You guys are awesome! As I mentioned before I’m an LMT and I do about 38 hours HANDS ON a week this is perfect
Thanks again for watching!
Wow, that was great. I already do the butterfly one as per my physiotherapist from before but that first one really helped alot. Thank you.
Glad it helped!
I use the second stretch in the doorway to get a crack/release between the shoulders and sometimes the sternum also by a small but quick thrust forward, if it doesn't go the first time I lower my chin slightly and it normally works 👍. Loving your channel. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
My left shoulder blade is so locked up I cant even feel my shoulder being pushed back! Thanks fkr the vid, will keep working on it
Same here, have you had any success with this method over time?
@@scotthaack996 No, have not used this successfully with my left shoulder. BUT doing upper back exercises has actually helped a bit
Thanks finally found a solution have noticed my left shoulder being a bit forward cause i program for hours everyday.
how do I do a home ring dinger, without killing myself
*karate chops knee” “Still kickin’ “
😂😂😂
It's hard to explain but what I do is real similar so basically, find something you can push up on while standing that's around waist level, once you find it place both hands infront of you as if you're trying to life yourself up, lean abit forward and somewhat quickly push yourself up and when you do this be sure to keep your bottom half on the ground and you'll feel your spine crack. This decompresses your back and feels amazing
Hang off your stairs decompress your spine. Doesn't do your neck though. I do it every morning on the way to the kitchen
I love door jamb excersies - something simple quick don't need to be an acrobat and feel it immediately. Thank You
Hope the exercises help for a long time to come, and thanks for watching!
This man deserves more views wtf
This is helping already after one session, wow! Thank you!
Glad it's helping you, and thanks for watching!
4:19 With this excercise, I already turned my rhomboids into Ramboids.
