    After *months* of trying everything to fix my shoulder impingement, I was getting some improvement, but still not 100%. This literally just fixed it in minutes. My range of motion is complete, and I made it through a whole work day pain free. I'm going to keep doing this stretch between clients. You may or may not have just saved my career; you're an actual life saver. Thank you, sincerely 🙏

      Can this excercise be used to help with Kyphosis? I know that that particular condition (forward head, rounded shoulders, upper back pain, stretched rhomboids, weakened chest and core, is degenerative) I wish i had known it was treatable when I was a teenager! Alas, now at 37 am telling myself to stand up straight all day. Doc, would u be so kind as to possibly make a video going into that condition a bit more? Your stretches, I've tried thus far have been more helpful than I was expecting, 👍👍 THANKS!

    You sir have made my Monday a lot better. I've been having excruciating pain on my left shoulder and neck. I spent months trying to find the cause of it until I ended up at a physical therapy and they told me my left shoulder is too forward, and they tried the KT tape which really helps, but I can't do it on my own. I even try yoga and all sort of stretches but it never really fixes the problem. During this pandemic I do not want to go the PT clinic. I was actually looking up how to tape the shoulder at home and came across your video. I did your first stretch exercise 3 sets, and at the second set I didn't feel as sore as the first set, amazing! Thank you, very, very much.

    Thanks. I've got terrible shoulders(3 surgeries total, 2 on the left, 1 on the right) & although they haven't been bothering me much the last few years...I literally had my left shoulder lock up yesterday as I lifted a coffee mug from a table beside me. I've been in agony since & unable to lift my arm completely. Despite his warnings I'm very well versed in shoulder injuries & know the risk, I performed these stretches & the 2nd one has helped with the impingement. I recently started working out & I didn't realize my scapulas are still weak. Word of advice, don't work out your pecks, neck, & triceps without stretching/strengthening your scapulas first!

    My shoulders roll forward and I’ve had pretty serious shoulder, neck, and back pain the last couple years. While I was doing the first one I experienced some pain in my shoulders so I was a little discouraged but held for 30 seconds.
    Whoa. After doing both of these just once I feel like my shoulders, chest, and upper back has loosened and actually opened up for lack of a better term for the first time in ages. I can still feel the openness 10 minutes later.
    Being that it’s just 2-4 minutes, free, and convenient I’ll be adding this to my daily routine. Shoulder and neck pain has been a hindrance on my life but I’m feeling optimistic about this!

    I found I have a pinched nerve and scapulothorasic bursitis from all the inflammation and shoulder surgeries on both. I pop in my neck and chest also.. I'm hearing your second stretch. Thanks for all the content you share. Alot of times it helps me understand how to stretch things with my sciatic nerve also.

    wonderful! My shoulders, which I have been worried about for years, have improved! The stubborn round shoulders that didn't heal after almost all the stretches, including the rotator cuff, felt the caput humeri move backwards with the first stretch, so I've been doing this for a week and it's getting better and better. You are a genius! thank you! From Japan

    I've had some shoulder pain on my right shoulder. Both of my shoulders were a little bit rounded, but it felt like on the right side the head of the humerus was anterior. I did these exercises for both sides. Now both shoulders are in a better position and the humerus on the right side is not so anterior and feels more loose. What was surprising was that the first first exercise felt equally unpleasant on both sides. Thanks!

      Dr. Rowe, I am returning here to give you a deep, heartfelt "Thank you!" It occurred to me, last night, that my left shoulder felt better than it has in months, and I honestly think that it was due to practicing what you taught in this video, in combination with other techniques that I have learned from you.

  • @Lucassa_bbx
    @Lucassa_bbx 3 года назад +3

    Really really helpful! My shoulder doesn't quite feel in place yet but I can tell this exercise is targeting the right place by how intense and tight the stretch feels. I almost overdid it and tried to force the pop but then you said not to in the video 😂, so now I'll wait a bit before retrying the stretch to not force or traumatize anything

    Thanks for this! Been dealing with chronic biceps tendinitis and my left shoulder gets pulled forward continously and everything gets out of whack- neck pain, ROM reduced, rhomboid issues, pain, etc. The first exercise helped and also did not hurt yay - can't get my arms up in position to do the second one but maybe someday

    This is AMAZING! Although when I did it , I had a crazy pins and needles feeling down my arm and into my fingers. It's gone now but it did take a while to settle. I think I went too hard, I tend to do that when I find something that actually works. It's seriously like magic. I'm a huge fan of self treatment and have watched countless videos from all the best channels. I've got to say, this one takes the cake for the shoulder reset.
    The human body is so trippy and body mechanics is so interesting. The principles should be learned by everyone , too many people just give up and deal with it, it's fucking crazy! RUclips is an amazing resource thanks to very talented and careing people such as yourself. Thanks for tip bro!!!

    one thing that you might like to add would be to simultaneously squeez your scapula while you're going into the motion, the range of motion increases allowing you to get a deeper stretch.

    I use the second stretch in the doorway to get a crack/release between the shoulders and sometimes the sternum also by a small but quick thrust forward, if it doesn't go the first time I lower my chin slightly and it normally works 👍. Loving your channel. Thanks

      It's hard to explain but what I do is real similar so basically, find something you can push up on while standing that's around waist level, once you find it place both hands infront of you as if you're trying to life yourself up, lean abit forward and somewhat quickly push yourself up and when you do this be sure to keep your bottom half on the ground and you'll feel your spine crack. This decompresses your back and feels amazing

    • @NaeMuckle
      @NaeMuckle 4 года назад +1

      Hang off your stairs decompress your spine. Doesn't do your neck though. I do it every morning on the way to the kitchen
