    A sock of the intake pipe works great in a pinch (your truck will perfer a cleaner one but beggers can't be choosers) It obviously won't keep the fine stuff out. But It certainly keeps the big stuff out it. I've done this a few times in the past. When I didn't have a filter and was in a rough situation. But not horribly far from a auto parts store. Hope this can help you in a pinch in the future.

    Try a Ats copilot on it you can lock to the converter up at 18 miles an hours I put one on my 2nd gen and it made a big difference

    Wow your truck makes that Dodge look sick. Nothing some money and time couldn't fix though, I think that's why everyone like the NV4500 dodge.:)

      BudaDiesel oh I know it’s be great with a 5 or 6 speed. Like I said once I got to 65 it was just fine but getting there was the problem lol way different than my setup

    The dodge auto’s suck so bad!!!! My 94 Cummins with a built trans with a triple disc torque converter an a 66mm turbo an 5in straight pipe an marine injectors totally sucked at shifting after 2 built trans I gave up......wish I didn’t give up an kept it but 4years of fun lots of memories sold her an regrettably wish I didn’t but oh well,love the content as always man.

    Gah unless you can throw a bunch of rpm and ton of power at a 4 speed with no 1st and 2nd lock up. It just ain’t worth it. Wonder how the 08 would party with that load around there. It runs out of gears at about 78

      Lol I’ve turned the line pressure up, using John Deere Hy Guard high viscosity, and a lock up switch. It ain’t a manual but it’s not near this bad! Lol. I can lock in 2 and keep it into 3rd. Don’t k ow how long it will last doing that but it does the job.

      Asher Wood lol what ever works. If it were my truck I’d definitely have a lock up switch in it but I think I’m just gonna get a new turbo for mine and call it a day lol

      TheFumminsPage rpope oh yeah your set up is way better than mine! I’ll probably do a manual next or a swap. My brother has an 08 f350 with a 24v. We are finally getting some issues resolved with it. Maybe your dad can do some simple upgrades to help his out. Just the electronics, JD fluid, and line pressure make it more reliable and useful.
