The Hilton is definitely haunted! I've lived in BR my whole life and I've always seen crazy ish in around that hotel. And the old state capitol always has a lady walking around at night inside the gate. And the levee is so paranormal!
I was an RA in the Horseshoe, and spent many late night rounds in Evangeline hall. The fourth floor had the eerie sound of two distinct female voices running down the hall and laughing and banging on the walls, when we would open the door, there would be nobody there. The basement of evangeline is visited by a janitor who took his own life, this is a story not well known. But I swear I truly saw this man at 3am one morning, and when I turned, he was gone, but the elevator wasnt open, the doors to the stairs never opened, and the basement classroom door is protected via keycard for students and professors of the Science Residential College only
No dude it wasn't just you, the third floor of pleasant Hall was given off a majorly creepy vibe. And I don't even get creeped out about home places when I'm there in person. But there was some Darkness at Old "Pleasant Hall"
People in Louisiana are allways seeing ghost and interacting with them also I lived in baton rouge during Katrina with that said I feared the living more then i Feared the dead
I have a small little story of the new capital that coincidentally took place on September 10th, 2012, or 13 (i was around 7 at the time). For whatever reason, every single staircase was locked which I really think is a safety hazard. Me and my grandpa went to the capital almost every weekend or every other weekend because he lives within walking distance from here. We have never once had any issues in the past with this capital. Going up was perfectly fine, and I faintly remember being in the gift shop at the very top, hearing a voice despite me and him being the only ones up there- we spent our time over looking Br and decided to head off. On the way down, the first elevator gave us no issues. I don't remember what floor, but there was no paper or anything saying this elevator was out of order so we stepped in, and not even within five minutes the elevator started malfunctioning. It started going to random floors, stopping in place but the door stayed shut no matter how many times we pressed the button, and sometimes the door would open while in motion. I remember the elevator stopping at the basement, which at the moment another person and his daughter were with us. The elevator stayed there for ten minutes, door open and I remember seeing a figure walking past and disappearing right before the door closed which me being so young at the time, obviously freaked me out even more. The man we were with eventually recognized a floor the elevator stopped at and we were able to get off after 30 minutes- I'm not entirely sure if this was paranormal related, but for sure I never once stepped foot in that capital to this day and am now terrified of elevators, in which I refuse to step foot in one and will take the stairs instead. Everytime we went more so near the capitol, even a year later I would always freak out and start to cry.
