  • The mysterious Frenchtown Road hauntings have drawn curious locals and ghost hunters to the railroad trestle near the merging of the Comite and Amite rivers in East Baton Rouge Parrish. Countless paranormal experiences have been reported from those visiting the area over the years. Join me for an exploration of this roadway that many believe could be one of the most paranormal locations in Louisiana. Something weird did happen during my visit. Was it just a strange encounter or something more? You be the judge…

Hate to burst anyone’s bubble, but the “last house on the left before the bridge” didn’t belong to a witch. It belonged to the Spink family who were a retired couple who owned that home on stilts and all the land between there and where the rivers meet. Definitely not witches. The land was sold to Brec. (The witches home is beyond the bridge at the end of the road past the park.. duh).

So your saying the mailman could have turned his car off in the driveway? Thanks for the information! A link to the blog post where I found the information is in the description. Check it out and see what you think. I would love to know & thanks for watching!

I remember the Spink's house. Is it no longer there? I haven't lived in EBRP for sometime. There were also real nice blackberry bushes in the area. It was a good spot to go blackberry picking. I wondered if the bushes were still there. They were tremendously huge.

A 4 year old boy drowned when I was out there last year. The park is isolated and it is one way in and out. You will get some shady and odd individuals including some drifters. It’s a great place to hike otherwise. I did see about 20 state troopers congregating at a house right off the road once. They were all gone when I left the park later. Never heard about any incidents taking place there. But odd.
I have had a few experiences at Port Hudson Battlefield right up the road though. Saw an old man walk behind an earthwork. When I reach the spot where he should have been he had vanished. I’ve heard what sounds like talking or mumbled conversations down in an isolated ravine. I’ve heard what sounded exactly like muffled canon fire.

I just found your channel, and I love your footages, which are very interesting and fascinating. I love discovering how it is in other towns, espacially abandoned places. Your videos are very pleasant to watch, beautiful images, and you seem to be well documented. You are pleasant to watch too, very good looking guy (sorry, I couldn't help it !🤭). Thank you very much for your excellent work ! ☺

I used to go here back in high school and had some crazy pics with “things” in the back ground under the bridge. Also had hand prints all over my truck after I just washed it that day.

I heard stories about a haunted road involving an unpleasant incident on a dead end road on Pride La. Maybe a 40 minute drive from there.

My husband and I thought we would hike to the bamboo forest so we took off into the woods off Frenchtown we parked by the bridge where you were, we got about 100 feet in the woods and my stomach was turning I got so sick with this horrible feeling so we turned back. When I got back in the car I googled the area and I was floored by what it was saying. We did pass the witches house after, it was creepy . I most definitely felt it in my bones when I was there.

I’m from the area. That’s in a town called central Louisiana. That’s definitely a weird little area and we would go there when we were kids and “hang out” only crazy person I saw was a train employee telling us to get off the tracks.

@@DraysWorld we would see people walking into the woods on the trails occasionally. Apparently about a mile down there’s access to the river bank. Never been down the trails myself. Too creepy lol.

I was out there with som friends at about 3 in the morning. I said I everyone were full of it. I started to walk back up the road. I was almost 1/8 mile or so. All of the sudden I heard this crazy weird sound, followed by a gigantic splash. It almost sounded like someone jumped off of something in to water. I turned and hauled ass back to my friends, we GTFO!! That was the only time I ever went there. This was 2005 or so

it was a fun time for us kids. A lot of memories here. There used to be wolves that would den by the bridge. A boyfriend and I saw them as we were driving. We didn't know if they were wild or someone's pets.
