They'd need to improve their acting a little bit. It was brilliant cinematography and felt realistic -- in a sense. But it needs better acting

I think the original voices were so unique and so well-played, you couldn't recast without it feeling a bit off. That said, the actors did an AMAZING job with the roles and clearly showed passion for the original work.

This is the BEST VIDEO I have ever seen!! I am an ENORMOUS fan of this game and to see how well this was made damn near brings TEARS to my eyes. Just wish this was a full length motion picture!! I would PAY to see it a million times in a row!! Thank you to ALL who labored over this AWESOME creation, actors, crew, directors, producers, etc., etc.!!! :D

Good acting just didn’t like johns voice in this one.. I wasn’t expecting his to be a carbon copy or anything but just didn’t have any distinguishing qualities.

I'm so happy to see that people are still keeping the life of Red Dead Redemption alive years after the games release. I was such a huge fan of this game and can't wait to see what Rockstar has for us next.

This short film is still great after 8 years! Love the cinematography and even with a small budget you did a great job
Hell of a fan production! Had a good laugh at the deadeye sequence and how spot-on Seth was. Eli Wallach and Arch Stanton appearing on the gravestones was a nice touch. You should do another one for RDR2.
I think my only complaint was the voice by johns actor I don't expect it to be perfect but I think they could've worked in it but either way hella great job!!

Any time! Admittedly, only one of the three of us (John) is actually American...
As a matter of fact, I might be looking for actors who can use an authentic NA accent (or British) in my area.
What's a good way to go about it? I'm in Greece and I'm certain things work differently than they do in Spain but what would you suggest me do to find such actors?
Hit the net. Look for groups on Facebook or Google such as "Auditions in Greece" or "Actors in Greece" or something. Or look for English theatre companies. Then just specify English in your request and maybe have actors send you a recording of them speaking, cos you'd be amazed how many actors say they speak English and then don't.

Gotta say you guys we're being real royal to the source material and making nice changes to mix it up at the same time. Using the same dialogue almost word for word 👍.
Only negative thing I have to say is the actor playing Marston felt really dead, it felt like he was reading right off the script. Aside from that I loved this.
I agree he needed to add the scratchiness of John to his voice other that it was great need a movie.
Also Bill Williamson looked nothing like Bill Williamson. Other than that, it was good
the acting was amazing. i usually shit all over fan films but this one is by far close to the best.

Damn, that was really epic. Captured the style of Red Dead and the characters very well. Action sequences were well choreographed, the Dead Eye bit was a great homage. Overall a well made fan film.
It would have a nice touch as well if John were to just grab one of the body and loot it.

Very nice! I especially like the guy playing Seth. He nailed the character perfectly, but everyone else was good too. I also loved when John went into Deadeye. That was so cool. I don't get impressed by many fan films, but this one really is something special. Other fan films I've enjoyed are Never Hike Alone (really only the ending), the Uncharted one with Nathan Fillion, and Casey Jones. This one is definitely on par with all of those. Great job!

Just seeing this in 2019. Amazing! The work put in this really shows. Those costumes, set design, the acting. Everything is top shelf. I don't know why this flew under the radar for so long, but this actually deserves way way more views. Nice work!

I know this was uploaded 8 years ago, but it's fantastic, you really followed the level from the dialogue, to the mission, to the overall feel. The actors you chose were perfect.
Making this for the love of the game reminds me of when I wrote epilogues for my favourite game characters to give them the ending I thought they deserved.

They really made a small masterpiece in my opinion. Every actor nailed the role perfectly. I loved how well Seth and Nigel were portrayed and Bills introduction near the end

I know the dead eye markers are cool and everything, but I think making time slow down briefly to see John draw his gun aim then in real time he shoots. To kinda give an idea of what dead eye IRL would be like
Precioso, sin duda el trabajo final es una maravilla, llevo esperando esto desde el día que lo anunciasteis en Facebook, cuanto a llovido desde entonces, y pensar que parecía imposible llegar a las cifras que necesitabais para lograrlo y mirad,
