Finally we get to see Nightwing in action for Absolute Power. 😊😊
I like that Dick, Tim, Ray, M’gann, and Voodoo (who should remember everything from the original Wildstorm universe) worked together to try and defeat Failsafe. It’s interesting.
For the Steve Trevor backup, I like the Steve pretended to be one of the guards and saw what the villains are doing. Also, it’s been a while since we’ve seen Sivana since Geoff Johns’ Rebirth Shazam run and 2021 DC AAPI anthology.
I get that if you're a bad guy, you're hiding during all of this. I would think an organization like the Legion of Doom would much rather deal with the heros vs these amazo's plus failsafe. I'd love to see an issue with their reaction.

We already saw in previous issues Superman, Aquaman, Green Lantern beaten, and now Batman. If they show Wonder Woman in future comics, DC is going to get into trouble. Even if it is in comics, a woman beaten mainly in the face is a sign of abuse against women.

The previous issues of Task Force VII are Shazam (aka the Original Captain Marvel), Aquaman, the JSA, and now Nightwing.
That is very one sided but its not abuse against women, there is no printed law that says it's a crime to illustrate a women getting punched in the face. Wonder Women gets punched in the face a lot.

Is it just me? I am getting Batman has created the major threat fatigue. He is more dangerous than Lex or Darkseid. And it is DC’s overused plot device for almost every event.
That's what I hate so much about DC Comics.They don't ever address the fact that Batman doesn't solve problems.He's literally creating worse problems

Failsafe lets them damage him on purpose (turned off his invulnerability- implied in dialogue) and then regenerated himself in front of them. He is allowing them to get hits in and there is also direct dialogue that pretty much confirms failsafe isn't trying to kill anyone. Failsafe even gives dick free shots and then slaps him down literally. He is simply wanting to capture them, former meta's being priority. Also, this is written by a different writer not Mark Waid or Chip so there are bound to be inconsistancies.
