i think its an amazing team dynamics. Rogue have been getting the protagonist she deserves and here she is the heart and head among her brother and husband, mentor and a fried. wolverine its with two of his girls: rogue and Jubs. and the Cajun and the priest are among beloved ones. so i can see great potential!
So far, I am enjoying Uncanny X-Men #1! I like the new members to the team! I hope they get the chance to experience the danger room, like the original X-Men had done! It would be cool to see that again! I like seeing the X-Men working out in the gym lifting weights, practicing hand-to-hand combat, using martial arts and preparing for new challenges! I really missed seeing Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters or Xavier Institute for Higher Learning! Those were the good ole days!
The X-men never learn. they let a new anti-mutant group turn the school into a prison, Beast went too far, but he was right, he was proactive against treats, I wish we still had a real x-force lead by Cable to defend Mutants. This was the best new xmen book so far, mainly because of the art. I'll check out the first few issues, to see if it gets better.
Man I’m late for for this but the new X men stuff I really wasn’t interested in because of everything going on and what they did to beast but this is like seeing part of a family come back together
These contrived villains seem so ridiculous after Orchis. This hated and feared trope is getting tiresome. Avengers deal with several threats, but the common theme isn’t just, “I hate that you exist.” Especially since there is no noticeable difference between a superpowered science accident and a mutant.
I think they want to be regular heroes, but these damn genetic bigots keep getting in the way. Yeah, the trope is a little tired, but I think that's their role in Marvel. I couldn't think of a Avenger Villain that mattered since The Hickman era.
Not a bad first issue . I also want some stories back on Arrako,why Storm left her seat there,what is Apocalypse up to after his series ended and return back on Arrako,or at least some clarifications .

Yes , but Namor was considered an Avenger, Firestar was usually on the New Warriors, or solo , Beast was the only x-men, but as long as he stayed with the Avengers, humanity loved him, Wolverine was the only other x-man on the Avengers, Justice joined the New Warriors after his parole from prison for accidently killing his father in a domestic violence dispute, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch ran away from the Brotherhood of evil mutants because Magneto at the time was buggin out killing innocent people, and those two were loved as Avengers, it's funny how Rogue left the Brotherhood at the same time Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch did! These are different cases then the unity spuad, they were sort of secret mutant members, when Captain America founded the unity squad, he broardcasted it to the world, but by doing that he knew Fox News, Tucker Carlson and a lot of hate mongers were going to fear monger the general public, so the United States would legistrate laws against mutant hatred! Other than that the general public didn't notice much mutant presence among the team, it was predominantly human and gods!

I told everyone who come and read my comments that it's Rogue who is going to make the professor proud, she goes forward to become the mutant icon and even though I don't like how the x-men are divided right now, I'll follow this series only because my premonition of Rogue's icon status will happen, it's already eched in stone from 1981! I love how the x-men took the time to visit a gravely sick child in the hospital and he got to meet Rogue before he passed away! I still don't like Gambit, but for now I'll put that aside, the main focus is the x-men continue to keep the professor's dream alive and like I said it's by Rogue's example of not just rolling over because she still temember's her sworn promise to the professor and with Wolverine and Nightcrawler two of her teammates who were there when she first joined, it'll help her with a good start! If somewhere in this series they manage to free the professor, it'll most likely be Nightcrawler, Wolverine, or Rogue herself It wont be Kate Pride, she's still at odds with the professor, I don't know why and Cyclopse has his hands full with his team! Storm moved on with her life and right now is an Avenger, as usual it all falls on Rogue to bring the family back tegether!
I think Rogue is one of Xavier’s greatest students. However, I also would like her to become a character that acknowledges the good and the bad in Xavier’s teachings and moves on. She is definitely capable of being a great leader and mentor, but she has to learn that her desire to find a place she belongs and security is something she doesn’t need anyone else to give to her. She can give that to herself and that’s what makes her special.

Because if you're intrigued by Superman's and Rogue life story of having a difficult childhood, I don't see how Gambit's story doesn't do the same for you. He never knew either of his parents, loss people close to him and had a lot of weight on his shoulders of being the one to lead the Guilds since an infant. I haven't like how writers have been using Gambit. He has so much untapped lore, but he's added in books because of his popularity & for comic relief 98% of the time.

Rogue asked herself" Is this how a real family supposed to be like?" Now I believe another female character can be a perfect match for Gambit and it isn't Rogue! I could stomach Gambit marrying a different mutant non- mutant character, but it most likely will be someone who really doesn't care about being on a hero team, but would join to keep themselfs busy or is looking for some kind of danger and being on any team of heroes is a dangerous ocupation! I do like Gambit's abillities, but he isn't right for Rogue, she actually is seeking to quell mutant persicution and bring peace to the world! The way the x-men are in hiding right now, no children should have to be exposed to a world like this because it increases the chance of that child being hardened into another Gambit or a evil tyrant of some kind and right now a lot of young mutants need positive guidance before they began to start committing acts of terrorism! Most of these mutant kids are easily hardened, their own families kicked then out on the streets just for being a mutant, they can't go to school because of hate, they have noone they can turn to for guidance, this leaves anger, dispair, vegeance! Most of them can't beat those odds like Rogue and most likely become more like Gambit and keep in mind mutants already have it difficult just existing without some hate monger attacking them! Most of them don't have a sense of stopping to think about actions and consequences like Rogue, they will develope this eff it attitude and start tearing up the country! Now people keep saying Rogueneto is not the right couple, but Magneto is a different case, but my idea is why does it have to be mutants only? Rogue could bridge mutants and non-mutants by having a healthy ship with another hero outside the x-men, in fact why couldn't Sentry be that bridge or Wonder Man? They are iconic and extremely popular just like Rogue, now many would say that is a forbidden marriage because of hate against mutants, but I see the professor's dream coming true from that. Just perminantly put Rogue on the Avengers, so she can show the world that mutants will intergrate more with non- mutants and that's the future of superhero teams. That will increase survival and increase numbers of heroes to combat evil, the x-men should do the same,recruit non- mutant heroes so teams don't be devided like the xmen are right now disjointed and in low numbers as villian teams are building! I see Rogue starting a future trend that leads to better workmanship between the Avengers and mutant teams, everyone needs to work together, remember they're all really are trying to accomplish the same goal, save and protect all sentient life and by Rogue using a ship to unite all heroes, of corse she will actually fall in love with that non- mutant which is great for her to train herself to make skin contact by will without poer dampenig devices, Wonder Man and Sentry can touch Rogue and resist being absorbed! Rogue doesn't want children with Gambit because his ways would be a major conflict for mutantkind being some of his actions, if Woner Man or Magneto, or Sentry was marriedto Rogue, those are good men who will bring offspring that would rather become honorable heroes and Rogue would have already gotten pregnant with Woner Man's child Wonder Man would be a great father, Rogue said no to Gambit as to not put him in a responsible possision! He likes it that way and he can be as selfish as he likes, so that's why that marriage needs to end, we need a future of great heroes not a corrupt future!
@christopherbyrdakaSuperman I don't know, man. Growing up knowing your parents gave you up because they couldn't find any love in their heart for you is still pretty bad. Both his and Rogue's upbringing are sad situations. Gambit only dealt with Mr. Sinister because he was the only person who could reduce his power and make it safe enough for him to use without losing control. He made a deal with Mr. Sinister to lead a team. He didn't know the details of the mission. When he realized it was an execution job, he did what he could to stop it. He was only able to save a little girl (Marrow, I believe). I wouldn't call him selfish. Gambit may come off as selfish, but he has sacrificed a lot. The thing that makes Gambit different is that he's able to make difficult choices in order to accomplish a goal. For example, when he took Rachel from the X-Manison to take back to Mr. Sinister. The X-Men chased him down, and he was able to escape them by blowing up a steel beam on a ferris wheel full of people. Knowing that the X-Men would stop pursuing him so they could save the people. Then, he double-crossed Mr. Sinister after using the baby to save Rogue's life. Returning the baby safely. Gambit has always supported and protected Rogue. But like I said before, writers have done a terrible job writing Gambit the past decade or so. They gave Rogue the pants to wear, and they have made Gambit fragile since the early mid 2000s (I hope it changes soon). Wolverine calls Rogue darling many times in the first issue (which I don't recall him ever call her that before). 90s Gambit would've shut that down immediately. Selfish would be getting any other girl and not marrying someone he can't touch. As far as leadership. He has the quality. Again, he can make those tough decisions without blinking. He was the leader of both Thieves and Assassin's Guild. They are a global organization. He gave it up because he doesn't want to lead. He was even offered to join the Avengers. He turned it down. Gambit doesn't care about that kind of recognition. His goal isn't to be a known hero, but he will become one if danger springs up in his presence. He also sacrificed himself to become the Horsemen of Death in order to find out Apocalypse's plan and stop him from exterminating billions of lives.
X-Men should’ve sent in Quicksilver instead of Rogue as although the kid would be A-Train levels of disappointed, the incident with him and Rogue wouldn’t have never happened.
i think Juliblee is said to be joining this book later out of the ashes the 2 books i was really looking forward was this book and X Factor . Rogue , Gambit, Nightcrawler have been my other favorites mutants after Havok who is my favorite Marvel character . i don't mind Wolverine just he seems to be in everything at times a little to much of him to me . i didn't like Wolverine's son tell the Krakoa era in the comics then the stories now i kind of like him now as the new Fang

No. Wolverine with his enhanced senses recognized the boy was dying. That’s why he told the doctor to call the parents right away. Rogue did get his memories and powers, but briefly.
Ya he was already dying. Wolverine could sense the stroke coming. I thunk the stroke forced one last use of his powers and touching rogue he saw the endling
This reminds me of when Rogue used to also have a portion of Carol’s 7th sense and could involuntarily anticipate danger. It would be interesting if what she absorbed from the boy somehow triggered the return of that low-level precognitive sense ability she used to have. 🤔

Rogue ventured and contiues to go outside the Marvel omniverse, steps into other fictional worlds, then conquers them! I have followed comics from 1979 to this day, I have never even seen the Marvel cosmic hierarchy draww like Rogue has! Not even pre-retcon Gods from DC, Marvel or any other comics have created a being who draws more attention to comics like Rogue has and I dont care if any trools out there call me a hardcore Rogue fanatic, go ahead make fun of me, but let me tell you these things.1 I was the first Rogue fan when she made her debute, I read that Avengers issue and knew Marvel stumbled onto something special, I had a dream that night, then woke up to the strangest premonition, Rogue is to become the one known as the mutant icon! 2. I advocate for Rogue because I see her true potential as an icon, look what Disney done, they requested a voice actress to play this iconic role in the series and it took major searching to find the right person to play that role. You don't just pick anyone, it had to be someone who read the books and had someone explain the character thoroughly, so the actress can play the part! You have to understand a superhero before you even have an opinion about that hero I understand Rogue, follow her carrer, even keep saying how she can be the best she can without Gambit, yeah many fans agrre, a small clutch of Gambit fans disagree, but I know Rogue to be her best as a hero and mutant! She can, if Marvel pull's that lever bring the company out of the slum it's in now, if I owned Marvel, Rogue would be my flagship reason for building themeparks across the country and eventually the world, but first I'd cut ties with Disney and make Marvel once again it's own independent company the way Stan Lee had it, then Rogue being so popular would be my Mickey Mouse figure only edgy and adultlike, yet pure innocent and good that means she must divorce Gambit and choosea equally good and innocent partner! That would be my iconic duo, the male as my superhero president, Rogue the first lady of heroes! Marvel could have built theme and waterparks just like Six Flags and my goal is to surpass Six Flags, even though that is my idol!
@christopherbyrdakaSuperman Do you not like Gambit at all, or just how he's been written in comics lately? Because if you're intrigued by Superman's and Rogue life story of having a difficult childhood, I don't see how Gambit's story doesn't do the same for you. He never knew either of his parents, loss people close to him and had a lot of weight on his shoulders of being the one to lead the Guilds since an infant.
I haven't like how writers have been using Gambit. He has so much untapped lore, but he's added in books because of his popularity & for comic relief 98% of the time.

t abused by parents who should be trusted to love and protect their children, Gambit was raised by thieves, but that didn't make him a really bad person, it was him being around Mister Sinister who we know has experimented and manipulated many mutants and Gambit allowed himself to be part of things that went too far over the edge plus his personality doesn't say husband material to Rogue, at no time during his x-men tenure did Gambit think he has a chance to become an important mutant figure to younger mutants inspiring them to follow a dream of mutants living in peace with humans, he is all about self. Rogue was misguided, but after her fight with Captain Marvel, she realized by following Mystique she was being selfish because that team only was a family when things were easy, but when things are difficult, they're losing to the Avengers or X-men they abandon each other. Rogue asked herself" Is this how a real family supposed to be like?" Now I believe another female character can be a perfect match for Gambit and it isn't Rogue! I could stomach Gambit marrying a different mutant non- mutant character, but it most likely will be someone who really doesn't care about being on a hero team, but would join to keep themselfs busy or is looking for some kind of danger and being on any team of heroes is a dangerous ocupation! I do like Gambit's abillities, but he isn't right for Rogue, she actually is seeking to quell mutant persicution and bring peace to the world! The way the x-men are in hiding right now, no children should have to be exposed to a world like this because it increases the chance of that child being hardened into another Gambit or a evil tyrant of some kind and right now a lot of young mutants need positive guidance before they began to start committing acts of terrorism! Most of these mutant kids are easily hardened, their own families kicked then out on the streets just for being a mutant, they can't go to school because of hate, they have noone they can turn to for guidance, this leaves anger, dispair, vegeance! Most of them can't beat those odds like Rogue and most likely become more like Gambit and keep in mind mutants already have it difficult just existing without some hate monger attacking them! Most of them don't have a sense of stopping to think about actions and consequences like Rogue, they will develope this eff it attitude and start tearing up the country! Now people keep saying Rogueneto is not the right couple, but Magneto is a different case, but my idea is why does it have to be mutants only? Rogue could bridge mutants and non-mutants by having a healthy ship with another hero outside the x-men, in fact why couldn't Sentry be that bridge or Wonder Man? They are iconic and extremely popular just like Rogue, now many would say that is a forbidden marriage because of hate against mutants, but I see the professor's dream coming true from that. Just perminantly put Rogue on the Avengers, so she can show the world that mutants will intergrate more with non- mutants and that's the future of superhero teams. That will increase survival and increase numbers of heroes to combat evil, the x-men should do the same,recruit non- mutant heroes so teams don't be devided like the xmen are right now disjointed and in low numbers as villian teams are building! I see Rogue starting a future trend that leads to better workmanship between the Avengers and mutant teams, everyone needs to work together, remember they're all really are trying to accomplish the same goal, save and protect all sentient life and by Rogue using a ship to unite all heroes, of corse she will actually fall in love with that non- mutant which is great for her to train herself to make skin contact by will without poer dampenig devices, Wonder Man and Sentry can touch Rogue and resist being absorbed! Rogue doesn't want children with Gambit because his ways would be a major conflict for mutantkind being some of his actions, if Woner Man or Magneto, or Sentry was marriedto Rogue, those are good men who will bring offspring that would rather become honorable heroes and Rogue would have already gotten pregnant with Woner Man's child Wonder Man would be a great father, Rogue said no to Gambit as to not put him in a responsible possision! He likes it that way and he can be as selfish as he likes, so that's why that marriage needs to end, we need a future of great heroes not a corrupt future!
@christopherbyrdakaSuperman I don't know, man. Growing up knowing your parents gave you up because they couldn't find any love in their heart for you is still pretty bad. Both his and Rogue's upbringing are sad situations.
Gambit only dealt with Mr. Sinister because he was the only person who could reduce his power and make it safe enough for him to use without losing control. He made a deal with Mr. Sinister to lead a team. He didn't know the details of the mission. When he realized it was an execution job, he did what he could to stop it. He was only able to save a little girl (Marrow, I believe).
I wouldn't call him selfish. Gambit may come off as selfish, but he has sacrificed a lot. The thing that makes Gambit different is that he's able to make difficult choices in order to accomplish a goal. For example, when he took Rachel from the X-Manison to take back to Mr. Sinister. The X-Men chased him down, and he was able to escape them by blowing up a steel beam on a ferris wheel full of people. Knowing that the X-Men would stop pursuing him so they could save the people. Then, he double-crossed Mr. Sinister after using the baby to save Rogue's life. Returning the baby safely. Gambit has always supported and protected Rogue. But like I said before, writers have done a terrible job writing Gambit the past decade or so. They gave Rogue the pants to wear, and they have made Gambit fragile since the early mid 2000s (I hope it changes soon). Wolverine calls Rogue darling many times in the first issue (which I don't recall him ever call her that before). 90s Gambit would've shut that down immediately.
Selfish would be getting any other girl and not marrying someone he can't touch.
As far as leadership. He has the quality. Again, he can make those tough decisions without blinking. He was the leader of both Thieves and Assassin's Guild. They are a global organization. He gave it up because he doesn't want to lead. He was even offered to join the Avengers. He turned it down. Gambit doesn't care about that kind of recognition. His goal isn't to be a known hero, but he will become one if danger springs up in his presence.
He also sacrificed himself to become the Horsemen of Death in order to find out Apocalypse's plan and stop him from exterminating billions of lives.

i think Juliblee is said to be joining this book later out of the ashes the 2 books i was really looking forward was this book and X Factor . Rogue , Gambit, Nightcrawler have been my other favorites mutants after Havok who is my favorite Marvel character . i don't mind Wolverine just he seems to be in everything at times a little to much of him to me . i didn't like Wolverine's son tell the Krakoa era in the comics then the stories now i kind of like him now as the new Fang

That prisoner x i bet is jubilee cause she is supposed to be on this team with “new” powers. What new powers does she need she literally can detonate anything at an atomic level she ain’t fireworks girl. Read age of apocalypse and then read extermintors she literally blew up the collectors ship on her own.

No. Wolverine with his enhanced senses recognized the boy was dying. That’s why he told the doctor to call the parents right away. Rogue did get his memories and powers, but briefly.
Ya he was already dying. Wolverine could sense the stroke coming. I thunk the stroke forced one last use of his powers and touching rogue he saw the endling
This reminds me of when Rogue used to also have a portion of Carol’s 7th sense and could involuntarily anticipate danger.
