Under a 1000 views and far better at delievering excitement than the likes of Adrian Barker, Teddy Balda, that asian fella etc. seems like a shame and not fair. I adore vintage watches myself. This video was nice and you're absolutely right about 34mm or even smaller. Rock what you want, don't care what others think.

Agree in many ways. In photographs a 34 mm watch looks classy as a dress watch and it’s fantastic. If I was wearing a summer T shirt I’d wear something playful like a 40 mm watch

My great grandfather was a strongman from the basque region, he was a stone lifter. My grandfather had wide shoulders, and worked in a sheetmetal shop. My Father was a boxer and amateur body builder who could bench over 300lbs. I have a 47 inch chest, a 400lb bench press and very wide shoulders and 8 inch wrists. What do we all have in common? They all wore 34mm watches. I wear my grandfather’s 1953 Oyster Perpetual in 34mm almost daily. Not a single person has ever thought it doesn’t fit my wrist. The dial size is about as big as a sub. And a small watch on a big wrist is a classy look, it can be pulled off well, unlike the alternative.

what this episode missed to mention is the lug to lug size in how a watch looks and not just the case size/diameter..... rolex 34mm typically have a lug to lug size of 42mm which makes they wear and looks more like a normal 36 or 37mm ROUND shape watch

I owned and loved my OP34 gold. It was a 14238 in perfect mint condition, except it was head only and I wanted a bracelet. Despite efforts to source one I ended up selling it and got a DJ36 two tone Champagne dial with the concealed clasp bracelet, 116233. It's got that "President on a budget" vibe and pairs with my white gold wedding band much better than full gold. It's a thing of beauty and I'm never letting it go until it's on the wrist of my son.

Great video and I have to say that 34-36mm is the size that I like and I have a 7 inch wrist but I just like the smaller size. I do have to say that I prefer a 18mm lug width for a 34-35mm case and a 19-20mm lug for a 36mm case. I really enjoyed the segment you did on the Omega Enthusiast channel and especially to collect and wear what you really like.

the true classic/vintage boys or unisex Rolex is 31mm OP date i think.... 34mm Rolex OP date has always been the smaller size for MEN while 36mm Rolex OP datejust is the larger Men's size (for NON professional / dive function Rolexes). only later on from 1990s onwards watches size became exceedingly large beyond comprehension due to popularity of watches like Panerai ...now the trend is again downsizing to more wearable and comfortable sizes for men e.g. 34 to 39mm for dress/everyday watch and maybe 40 to 43mm for Divers/Submariner homages

I wear a 34mm date with a stunning champagne dial and smooth bezel from the late 1970 and by comparison I also have a 1989 40mm sub 5 digits and they both work fine on a 7.25 wrist. 34mm size can represent tremendous value too. Looks classic with a suit or any long sleeve. I will add that a. 36mm explorer next to a 34mm is not a great difference at all. Be a man and have confidence in yourself not what is on your wrist.

I own many larger case timepieces. I like all of them. I have a large wrist and larger watches look great and not too big, sometimes. I purchased a near mint Rolex Air King 14000 with a silver face/dial. It is small but in the hot weather a big watch is a bit cumbersome 9n the wrist. I wear a 34mm Rolex Air King/Winn Dixie 10 Year Safe Driver aka "big 10" presentation/award watch. Regardless of what others may say or think I like the watch. It IS STILL A ROLEX. It has a Rolex movement. Why not pick up what most overlook and get 3 or 4 Air King's while some will spend their money on what most are wearing for countless thousands. Buy what you can afford and enjoy the quality of a great timepiece. As stated, "where what you like". Who gives a shit what anyone else thinks? It's what you like is what's important, isn't it?
