  • This is a recording of Jiddu Krishnamurti answering the following question on the root of thought: "What do you mean by 'observing thought down to it's very roots?' I watch my thoughts, but each one leads to another in an endless chain. What is the factor that ends this? What actually brings change?"

This is a deep discovery that THOUGHT is limited! ONE always questioned one s own upbringing. All the PAST suffering, chaos, and hurts has no vitality in the NOW! This is beauty to hear!🙏

One of the questions in these comments states that Krishnamurti 'himself had some internal conflicts with his thoughts'. If I may suggest, jumping to conclusions should be the last thing one should do when trying to understand Krishnamurti. For nearly 25 years of his life, Mary Zimbalist was with Krishnamurti and had observed his daily life from close quarters. Please go through the record of discussions between Mary Zimbalist and Scott Forbes which covers the entire duration Mary was with Krishnamurti. It's a fascinating record of his daily living. And one can learn for oneself with what simplicity he lived his extraordinary life. The record of discussions is available freely online.

This is the answer to salvation that there is hope if we all *human* *being*, understand & observe our thought. Were condition inwardly that were so blind to see. Im honor & grateful to you Sir, i glimpse joy of your teaching❤❤..

The root of the thought is thought itself or it is the separate self that arise as a thought out of the limited content of memory formed through previous experiences.
The realization that whatever answers it receives and the actions it make will be limited and not create the result as it thinks. This realization puts an end to all actions in the direction it was making. That is the radical change.

      Root of though is MEMORY,
      PAST is MEMORY
      PAST is THOUGHT,
      PAST is also SELF,
so tought is self /// What you THINK you are
( when oneself is TRY to CHANGE with tought,
Tought is trying to change itself, ( And we know its also MEMORY…. Memory is stored in brainCELLS, so its physical storage… when you try to change you are working on same physical area, you think its change but there is NO MOVEMENT so no CHANGE.. same thing, same area, its an illusion…
when there is no tought there is no self.
Memory is put together by time
      So time is tought
When you act with tought, you act with PAST in NOW, so its dead action And limited
And its self action, And it crate conflict…
Tought, memory, past, self, time …. All is same, its ROOT
      u follow?? ❤🎉❤❤😊

@@UzakdoguExpressi I agree with everything you said. My question is, how does one go through daily life, wanting to achieve something like having a better job to live in better conditions, how to go through all this without thinking? Or it's good to think? Or should one always observe what thoughts are arising? While i write this i realize it's all thought, but then i'm thinking should I just observe this? Is it right/wrong to do x/y? If all this is thought, should I even care what it wants? Like a better job if it s just thought, and thought is limited, then it's wrong to desire that? So i shouldn't persue it? It's so complex.

    • @karenann5090
      @karenann5090 2 месяца назад

@SilviuSDJ It is very complex. I can only understand it by observing what is, whether it is correct or incorrect doesn’t matter. If I am wondering what is right or wrong, I just watch it. It’s the same with K’s “choiceless awareness”; I can only see that I am NOT choicelessly aware. As soon as I decide to be aware, it’s not real.

The issue is that thought does not think. Thinking and thought formation are two different things.

Thus, From where do thoughts arise? How are they formed? Where do they go?

@@DavidEArredondo I suppose we both agree that thoughts are material phenomena, as they are formed in the brain depending on how the brain is conditioned (including also the biological conditioning of course).
How they form and continue to replicate themselves, either via variations or mechanically/neurotically, and where they go... depends on one`s metacognitive awareness of them.

It's true..Thinking is a "reaction" process. It needs "stimulus" to function. But both are unitary movements in the brain. We can't separate them to identify. It doesn't aware of itself. If you go a little deeper, there is no such thing as "thinking". It's only "about thinking". If you omitted the stimulus "about" (for tomorrow, my life, my relations, my enemies, my work, my money, my to-do's, etc.) there is no reaction as "thought". All these stimuli are in past or projected illusions and based on attachment, hatred, or sensations.

The root of thinking/ Thought is:> "Memory"!! No Memory No thinking / thought!!! If i have no memory there is nothing to think about. Memory preventing us from living the Now.

One gets knowledge from experience and knowledge stores in brain as memory. Response of memory is thought. As experience/knowledge is limited so the thought. Limitation always creates conflict and so the thought which is one'sufferings. Now how to end this suffering?
The very realization of this truth will create mutation in brain cell and might change the response of memory and so thought.
This truth shold be realized by one'being , not at thought level.

Jiddu Krishnamurti,... a gifted human who refuse the trap that theosophical society had set for him... becoming a new messiah for the sake of a secret agenda...instead he is the perfect incarnation of an allergic response to this b.s. mcdonalisation of spirituality...dont wait for salvation to fall from anywhere to you....learn to think and act BY YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!maybe that`s worth living???
