I was with Osho in Pune 3 years, when the Ashram was called the Multi-University, 1987 - 1992. I thanks my family so much for that experience. Much of my visions come from Osho, being there listening, being present, celebrating, dancing, meditating, working in meditation.

My journey with Osho started with a book I never read, then couple months later a friend gave me The royal song of Sahara. That was my first love. I now have hundreds of his books. He has changed my life from fear and greed into love and awareness. I will forever be grateful for the kindness and love Osho has for humanity. Now I continue his work but from a surfing perspective. This Documentary was nice thank you for making it.

Osho just stunned me, when i saw him first time on open platform,i was stunned,like love at first sight,and eventually realised in my dream indicating as my last life guru! Than i lost myself in him,just loved and stunned everytime as i met along, missing toomuch now ......!hoping one day i will melt myself totally in to his enlightenment...

Even listening to the narration about him bring me into silence and close to my heart. I remember the first time i watched his video my judgement took over and didn't watch to the end. You've already noticed that wherever an enlightened person awakens, there is a tree nearby. Buddha, Krishnamayaria, Ramana Maharsi, Osho, Ramakrishna Paramahansa and even Krishna were all touched by trees.

@@johncarr2333 Yes, yes, there is nothing but consciousness, what else, but that is not the point here. Did you know that Ramana had a mountain as his guru but was only allowed to see the leaves of the God tree. Verily, every mystic has a tree.
Don’t fix any kinds of definitions of an enlightened being. There are none.. Trees are everywhere. Some got enlightened by just looking at flying birds, some were sitting on a stone considering no trees around but totally focused on the stones…
Enlightenment occurs when a स्थिति called निर्विचार happens, and has nothing to do with surroundings….

In 1983 I travelled the west coast of the USA and
on my way I visited the town of Rajneeshpuram in
Wasco County in Oregon.
It is a bright, cloudless day. I am perhaps 5 km from
Rajneeshpuram.
Suddenly I noticed a single small white cloud in the
sky in front of me.
It was the one over the ranch grounds.
10 minutes later I drove into the ranch grounds.

Remember, no one reaches enlightenment because there is no one.
If there were someone there, it would be separation.
There is no possibility that there is someone, because there is no separation. Liberation is already, only that there is someone is the illusion, the veil that covers what is always already there - liberation.
That there is someone, is the only, dreamed, misleading illusion of
"I am" and this keeps the search and apparent knowledge going on.
It is the birth of a teacher - one who knows something = two = separation.

Osho no longer has the grip on minds that he once had. The very discourse on the nature of spiritual life has changed.
I was very inspired by his 'teachings' when I was younger. Its iconoclastic nature was appealing to my young reactive mind growing up in a conservative Indian household.
Today however I'm not so sure. We know more about the human body and mind not to have to force fit their dynamics into the descriptions offered by such 'masters'. We should put their sayings under scrutiny to see if it bears out with new findings.
The worst thing about this film is the terrible American vouce over. Why could they not find an Indian who could have pronounced all the Indian names of people and places correctly ?? !!
The truth is always the truth
And Osho didn't invent or show how to live the Truth.

I took Sannyas from Osho over forty years ago, and over the years have seen a lot of media coverage, mostly biased and focusing on the most scandalous and controversial aspects of Osho and his work.
He acknowledged, in one of his discourses, that he had come 'too soon' but that this was the only way he could come, and that it's the people coming in the future who will really be able to understand him and his teachings.
To see a documentary like this, well researched and beautifully put together, is therefore touching, as it's a clear sign of the beginning of that recognition and understanding.
As a long time Sannyasin there are details of his early life that I was not aware of!

There's an Indian movie, The Rebellious Flower, that was made dramatising Osho's early life, also directed by a Sannyasin.
So I was wondering whether the maker(s) of this documentary might have been a Sannyasin......maybe you were one of those who were with him in Tibet!

Reading Oshos talks that were made into books ( he never wrote any books ) made me see through all the bullshit I had been brainwashed with . And for that gratitude doesn’t cut it . This documentary showed an unseen side of Osho Rajneesh's personality. I always thought he was mostly selfish and still think he was, but he also had an unusual childhood in that he had caring grand parents and a mother. A liberal father and some form of tender love experience in an early age as well. All these shaping up a very broad minded and bold man that resulted in a character unseen in modern history. His tantric bent of mind due to influences via his grand mother's family history is now a bit understood.

He was right in many ways, on many issues.. But he was also wrong on many.., which made it very difficult for many sannyasins to have a fulfilling life, because Osho was a very powerful spiritual force and next to that surrender in the Ashram and communes was strongly programmed into the minds and souls (just remember the "Gatchami's") and therefor a way out for Osho-disciples was extremely difficult even to conceive...
For example Osho - The Master of Masters as he let himself be called by his disciples - was not aware, c.q. not conscious, of the extreme evil of the pharmaceutical industry, he was all for it. But many of his followers were damaged by this evil industry. (examples are plenty) . And very critical: Osho was actually not aware of the reality of ancient human history, even-though he gave the idea in his lectures that he knew it all.,
He was not at all informed about the Egyptian history of the Pharaoh's and the most ancient writings of the Sumerian people, the lost book of the Bible "The Book of Enoch" and the fact that the human race has been brutally manipulated for hundreds of thousands of years.
Just condemning priest and politicians ( as in his book "Priest and Politicians, the Mafia of the Soul") is just scratching the surface of humanities problems and is not going to change the human experience for the positive... If it is at all in the possibility of humans themselves to change this world.

This video - in my opinion- is too filled with hagiographical excess - I think Osho was an intelligent mystic, but a flawed personality -- an obvious fact when you look at his cultish movement. The hero-worship may not help seekers attain to a mature spirituality - so why not separate the sugar from the sand and leave behind idolization and consider some of wisdom in his writings, and debate where his teachings may fall short- in an objective manner?
