@7:18 Yes, many of us rode at the Old Dean in the 80s 😄 Technically, I think it was illegal to ride there, but if you stayed in the wooded/hilly areas the MOD wardens never bothered anyone!
In south Wales they held competitions on Radyr farm just outside Cardiff,uphill sections and tame compared with today’s people , but I remember seeing a greaves twin wiz past every other bike , the year , 1965/6

I was lucky to grow up in Camberley so the old Dean was one of my practice tracks there were so many places l could ride in the area in the 70's 80's.
