╰ generally yes, but with no promises. : ( this is mainly bc the growth of this channel + my hectic life as a uni student has made it rly challenging to keep up with an overwhelming # of requests each day. i also like handpicking certain atmospheres myself that i think would fit the songs and voices better, making them feel more immersive for yall. i also wanna add that the quality of my edits also depend on my mood at the time. in other words, my edits will have a lil more emotion and effort to them if they're songs i'm personally feeling atm.

i can see in my head that i’m driving home from work in the heart of seoul, heaving sighs n breaths that fall in beat with mono + the rhythmic rain, an air of momentary serendipity that settles within the car amidst a haze of city smoke and flashing neon lights and the glow of a thousand stars above. i can take a new, fresh breath, in the solace of the apparent absence of time, and everything melts away into calmness.

how does namjoon play with words like this? seoul, soul. how is he so full of flaws yet so flawless? he, and the other six boys, they've become this thing - i don't even know how to describe it - like, they're so perfect with every part of them to the point that they aren't even a band anymore. their songs aren't just songs. it's pure magic, like as if whoever created us made them with perhaps something different. but the thing of it, they're only humans, just like all of us. somehow, that makes them even more beautiful. they are something words cannot describe, and they will go one day like they have come.
when i listen to your song edits, i feel infinity. each and every one of them, they capture the song's beauty just right. they make us feel that even though we're just a spot on a diverse universe and every moment in our life is simply bringing us to the end, somehow it's more than that. you make writing essays and taking walks look beautiful.

You think about how you made new friends due to it and how you used to watch them online all the time. You smile at the thought as a familiar song comes into your mind, Seoul. As you stop at the red light, you grab your phone and type in the name. You let out a sigh as you see the last comment from 6 years ago. As the introduction starts, you hear the familiar voice of Kim Namjoon, your bias. You think about how inspirational he was to you and how he helped you overcome your fear of public speaking. As the song continues playing, you pass by SM entertainment. You smile, as you think about you favorite groups. But your mind comes back to reality. After many popular kpop groups disbanded the hype of kpop dimmed down and many kpop groups were having trouble gaining popularity. As you park your car in the parking lot, the song comes to an end. You grab your stuff and head inside your destination. The bright blue letters J Y P always catch your eye as you enter the building. You’re determined to make a new change on kpop. You thank the security guards as they open the door for you. As you step inside the familiar lyrics inspire you to go foreword. “I love you Seoul.”

Seoul - the city my company sent me for a project. The city was so alien at that time - I didn't speak the language - if you don't count the "annyeonghasaeyo" and the "gamsabhamida". The city reminded me so much of every metropolitan city I had been to - the fast pace, the hustle, the trains and the fact that time stood for no one.
But we kept on getting fundings and extensions for our project~~
Slowly I started learning the language, and moving around on the street with little hesitation. Kimchi was an acquired taste, finding vegetarian food was a hassle. The big buildings, the narrow by-lanes, the bus stops surrounded me. People would be curious to know where I was from, I would be curious to know what they thought of my home country.
Seoul became home in the past 3 years. I would go back to my hometown once a year, but coming back to Seoul felt like coming back to a part of myself that I never knew existed. It was foreign and familiar at the same time.
And tomorrow, I leave this city, for another city , another country , another adventure.
As I drive down from my office to my home for the last time, driving past the last bus for the night, on the road with only a couple of cars driving by at this late hour, the streetlights glistening the night sky instead of the stars, RM's "Seoul" comes on the radio. And there has not been a song that captures Seoul like this one does for me.
Everyone comes to Seoul for work, but they create a life here.
