- i love this song sm and it's one of my favs on the album for sure.
one thing i noticed is that if you listen closely, the stylistic approach for the first "please give me a remedy" sounds almost like a different song. kinda like them musically mimicking the "unfamiliarity" or "out-of-placeness" that jamais vu means. slowly, things start to fall back into place and recognition, and the beginning of the chorus fits in just as it should. it's genius and makes this song even easier to love : )

Whenever jungkook or bts sings “please give me a remedy” it sound like they are begging for help, like they are dying on the inside yet smiling outside for army. It sely sounds like they need a remedy to escape from the so called toxic life of a kpop idol (scandal, etc). I feel so heartbroken listening to that line and i even get goodebumps as well

I had another bad day again and this time it was 3 of my friends, specifically one of them is really special to me, they laughed at a mistake I made and then I cried because it was going out of hand. Then this video came back so here I am but this time this song hits differently because I feel like the lyrics are almost from his perspective but the crying in the car is me.

couldn't agree more on the "please give me a remedy" in your description. i noticed that when i first listened to it. feels really weird at first. but i slowly love this song because of that part because it gives off an idealism kind of image. i always feel something special when that part comes up. btw i love this edit too!!! as ordinary as it sounds, sometimes simplicity are the best + the sobbings at the end tho love the details 💜💜💜

right before the last chorus during the bridge i remembered when two years ago i was on call w my ex and i asked him if it was okay if i sang some songs, at one point i was singing taeyeon’s “Fire” and it went “i feel so alone~” and when it ended he said “you’re not alone” and it hit me that i am alone and far from the one person i loved the most and that it felt like a “jamais vu” at this point bc i don’t remember what it felt like having that support and constant love

What you pointed out in the description i spot on! The lyrics are like a gaming au do. Also some of the Korean words "iIjjeumeseo" sounds like a literal pronunciation of jamais vu, among other wordplays between the two languages. In each chorus, the word remedy is pronounced differently. The song just hits home because I'm dealing with exactly what the song conveys. Trying to fix a relationship tainted with your own mistakes, that hurts you as much as it does the other person. +jin's crystalline vocals and jhope's lofi rap in the end????

Not gonna lie I’ve been a bts fan for 2 years. I recently started to shift away from them. Watching your videos with bts songs reminded me of how much their music has done for me. I was very happy and got to attend their Concert. Even though I don’t call myself an army anymore I will still support those boys for life. They have changed me and hearing their songs always bring me back to 2 years ago. Thank you for your hard work❤️.

i was good friends and getting closer to this guy but on insta. it sounds super weird but i remember when i made a group call with one of my good friends and him...this little kid from his side asked who he was talking to and he did his dumb friends. wasn't offended by that but i noticed the kid asked if it was his girlfriend and he obviously said no. little did he know i liked him and it was a genuine love but it was the sorta relationship where id text first and if not, not at all. i don't get what i saw in him but after that he just kept calling me ugly and calling my friend a clown and he was being super racist...let's just say ive learnt my lesson so now i sit here and cry with yall💕
