I just talked to customer service. I have a pull to open set up just like the video. You start in the open position with the operator fully retracted. Then you set the limit for when it closes. There is no setting for how far it opens. I also have a gate lock. If the gate starts to open but comes back you need to adjust the stall setting check the manual. Getting things level horizontal and vertical will save a lot of trouble.

The program instructions suck! The garage opener control is a pain to make it communicate!

How did you adjust how much the gate closes
There are two buttons on the inside you press and hold them you can adjust the gate open and close
I was hoping to see a keypad install too because im thinking about getting one myself. Wonder what kind of chaos that would be to install?

There is no real reason, this one was actually on sale as a bundle so we chose it. It’s been working great.

Add a panel to keep batteries charged.
Piece of crap…my 4th one just died…barely 5 years oit of each.. UPDATE…when it stopped working I checked the battery..it said full charge… apparently it was wrong..I replaced the battery and now it works.. made a note to myself change battery every three years.
