Ac to dc transformer*. Hey listen people. You have, absolutely have to maintain them. You have to grease the main drive shaft and after each greasing you have to make sure it’s sealed 100%. Use a good silicone caulk. Don’t be conservative with it either. They will last along time if you make sure you keep it sealed, don’t over work it with obstructions and Lube lube lube lube the thing a lot every 6 months.
I needed to see how you set the close limit and then cycled the gate open and closed 4 times per the instructions, because it doesn't say to program the remote yet and I'm having problems with this step of setup.
@Knottsqmw Thanks for the reply, I ended up resetting the control board and starting over with the close limit setting and save, then imediatly programing the remote push button using the S3 button. Then the control remote worked to operate and cycle the gate.
Yes sir for it to close after it has opened. I know it come in the off position from the store but I have moved mine clockwise half way but still it shuts as soon as it opens up. I have even moved it to the far right(clockwise) it worked like it should 120 seconds now it’s back to shutting as soon as it opens up! Just thought maybe I’m doing something wrong here.
Hello, just rang that bell.. Nice work here. So the unit also needs a battery correct? The transformer is to charge and maintain the battery and the supplied butt connectors on the wire go to a non supplied 12 volt battery, is that right??? thanks again !
That part of my video got messed up I believe and that’s why it wasn’t in there. I can always send you a link to the actual document that tells you how to do it if you would like that.
Sure I commented on your other post. You must have a battery hooked up. It can be a small 12v battery or a large one , are you hookup up to a AC power source 120v with the transformer?
Would you know where the serial number is located on the arm? I have the lighter weight unit but would think the serial number would be located in the same area. I can't find the serial# on mine for warranty purposes. Thanks.
That is correct. In my case, you can’t just have electric hooked up . You have to have a 12 volt supply . I thought I could just wire it into my house directly, but ended up still needing a battery supply to make it function
Correct but you need a way to charge the battery. So either plugged into an outlet or a solar charger. It has an on board solar controller so all you would need is the solar panel sold separately. I'm pretty sure you can buy a cheap one from harbor freight vs paying $120 for one.
I can’t wait to get mine installed! My alpacas will love it!
Very nice

Great advice
But man your video is very helpful, you did a great job!
Thank you . It was a video I really tried hard on when I first started making long forms . I’ve been slacking this year though
I understand completely! I have known time myself!😂

Let me see if I still have that info

I don’t have mine on a timer due to pulling trailers a lot . Never messed with that part, but I can show you the panel inside
Thanks
And what your pins are set at?
What pins are you referring to?
At the top right inside your control board there are 5 pins that set for pull to open and push
Great video thank you! Does this model hook up to wifi?
Thank you! Yes you can hook it to Wi-Fi with an adapter (extra cost) and use your phone .
Best video iv seen on this thank you did you use onther part on the end of the wire so it wont hang ?
Are you referring to the wire coming from the house to the control box, or the wire I put on the gate?
What if your timer is not working correctly?
For auto close?
Yes sir

Yes I believe so . Been a while since I did it I would have to watch video again to remember, but it’s something like that lol
@@Knottsqmw haha cool thanks!
No
@@Kyleigh-m8vso is your no to say that you can wire directly to the outlet using the supplied transformer?
Why didn’t you show the inside of your board and what you have to do to set the gate to open and close?
That part of my video got messed up I believe and that’s why it wasn’t in there. I can always send you a link to the actual document that tells you how to do it if you would like that.
Please that would be great! Straight up you have the best video out!
How did you get that feature to slow down when it opens and closes
It actually automatically does it off of the parameters you set in box.
Which dip switch(es) controll the soft start/stop?
I can get to closed but I can’t set the open!!!
why does it need a battery if you plug in directly to an electrical outlet???
I thought the same thing, but it has to have a 12 volt supply for the computer board to power on.
@@Knottsqmw So you do need both? thanks
It also keeps the battery charged so that in the event of a power outage you can still open and close the gate
Whats the 2 extra holes for in the arm side?
I believe for different angles depending on how your gate is set up
I need your help. I did all the installation but mine will not work. can you help me .

Honestly I’m not 100% sure, I will look at mine again
@@Knottsqmw Tks!
I don't have the battery hook on . is this why?
You have to have a battery on it .
That would help to see this the cycle!
Nice work
Thank you. Very easy process .
Tractor supply told me doesn’t need electric hooked up - just battery? Gate to far from house

Give the process on programming. That's what's sucks in the instuctions
I honestly can’t remember right off hand . I will try to watch my videos again and put in a comment on how to do step by step
Sounds like you live close to a dirt track.
Asphalt, but yes less than 1/2 mile
