  • This four channel ready to fly aircraft is very maneuverable in 3D mode. It's a great plane for intermediate and above fliers. Find it here and use coupon code BG02fc55 to get it for $89.99 ban.ggood.vip/14NZw
    Pros
    - True four channel 690mm wingspan aircraft with ailerons, elevator, throttle, and rudder control.
    - Available in three colors: Army Green, White, or Silver.
    - Constructed of crash resistant EPP foam. It's a very crashworthy aircraft. Want proof? Watch the video. Remember though, I always fly in a grassy field. Flying over asphalt or concrete may give different results.
    - Weighs only 249 grams with included battery. This airplane does not require FAA registration or remote ID (RID).
    - 2204 2300kv brushless motor drone with 16A ESC for power and durability.
    - 7.4V 1300mah battery provides up to 25 minutes of flight time (I got close to 11 with high power flying).
    - Available RTF with included transmitter. But has SBUS slot if you wish to provide your own receiver and transmitter.
    - Flight control board also include expansion points for installing an optional GPS system if desired.
    - RTF transmitter range of up to 500 meters. Includes switches for three flight modes of Manual/6G/3D, along with dual rate switch.
    Cons
    - Flying in 3D mode was a LOT of fun, with the aircraft being very maneuverable. However, flying in 6G mode was problematic with my airplane. Maybe mine was simply defective? But I repeatedly experienced turning problems, along with occasional uncommanded hard right banking of the ailerons. Again, my individual aircraft may have simply been defective. I say this in that I have not seen this problem in other people's review of this aircraft.
    - The 3 position mode switch has 6G as its center position. This makes it difficult to select without looking. 6G as an emergency selection should be at one of the outboard positions to make it easy to quickly select without looking.
    - Installing a GPS system requires soldering. Additionally, there are no instructions included on how to do such.

    Been waiting for your review on this (and other planes) Old Mate. Even Googled the local papers' Obituary sections to see if you might have tripped and fallen into the Lake! 😉😂
    I don't know if that GPS feature will ever be added to this plane (unlikely to be in the current programming) since that'll push it over the 250gm limit.
    The S-bus socket to the right of the GPS mounting box on the board should be a boon to folks who prefer to use their own Tx though.

      Yeah, the weather has just been awful for flying here where I now live. Even today. We have a total solar eclipse supposed to happen later today, but it's overcast and raining :( Sometimes I miss living in the desert.

      Looks like another in the vein of the old XK A160 - with the dumb-ass programming there in the 6G mode. Shouldn't really need it if you have the "panic" button. But obviously NOT a good brushless replacement for the little Volantex V761 series toys and certainly not a "Beginner" warbird.

    Been looking at this manufacture since they started selling the White scheme'd one but no way I can hold their transmitter and I have no clue what protocol to use on a multi protocol module or if it can take an external RX. They mention sbus, but sbus gps?? I just wanna know if I can get it on another TX..

      @@nevTk-oe9ud Nahhh this guy is a little bigger and heaver plus its 2s. Ive had a few of those smaller 1s and have more UMX micros than I could quickly count. This one is a bit in between with the larger motor and I'm sure flight times than most micros. Just wish we could get some decent technical info or even an rcgroups forum. Ive seen so many of people upgrading their 1s micros to 2s over the years, well heres one thats already 2s.... lol

      @@moflyair I'm disabled in a wheelchair with more metal screws in just my left hand than some transmitters lol so its hard for me to hold and use box style transmitters. I current use an X-Lite with multiple modules mainly frsky, crsf, and elrs but I do own multiple multi-protocol modules that support hundreds of protocols. Chances are the TBS MPM may even auto find what protocol the RX uses but I'd rather not risk my money being disabled and on a meager fixed income buying a plane I cant fly

    Are spare parts for this model/brand readily available for purchase?

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  Месяц назад +1

      Spare propellers and batteries are available for this plane. But I do have to say that this plane is one of the most crash resistant planes that I've ever flown. I've done numerous hard nose ins with this plane in a grassy field. It still looks and flies like new. That includes the propeller! This is turning into one of my favorite planes for practicing stunt flying.

      @@Quadcopter101 aight good to hear that... so far it does look tempting 👍🏻
      What about the throttle response, overall manoeuvrability of the plane? Is it too sensitive/sluggish/ just nice ?
      Overall, would u recommend it to others to buy it?

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  Месяц назад +1

      Throttle response is slow and gradual. But it's just right in maneuverability. But because of the issues that I've experienced in the video when flying in 6G mode, I would not recommend this for beginner pilots. Instead, this is a good trainer plane for intermediate pilots transitioning to manual flight using its semi-stabilized 3D mode.

    Like the video it’s no trainer.

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  2 месяца назад

      Not for beginners since 6G was problematic. But for intermediate pilots in 3D mode, it would make a good basic aerobatics trainer. It has that self leveling button if you get into trouble. And as demonstrated, it's resilient to crashes.
