  • This new version of the Warbird series includes a clear canopy, one key takeoff, and automatic loops and rolls capability for beginner pilots. Find it here directly from Volantex (EXHOBBY) bit.ly/BF109-V2 or here from VolantexRC USA Amazon store amzn.to/4aIrIZE
    Pros
    - Very good looking aircraft in paint scheme and details
    - Weighs only 62 grams with battery installed. Does NOT require registration or RID in most countries.
    - Ready to fly plane with included transmitter.
    - True four channel airplane with throttle, elevator, rudder, and aileron control.
    - Constructed of flexible and crash resistant EPP foam.
    - Plenty of power from its 1020 brushed motor.
    - Comes with two 2 bladed and two 3 bladed propellers. Quick disconnect propeller saver automatically disconnects the propeller in a crash to prevent propeller or motor damage. Propeller can be quickly reattached after the crash to continue flying.
    - Three selectable flight modes. Beginner mode includes full 6 axis stabilization (3 axis gyro and 3 axis accelerometer). Also includes angle restrictions that prevent the aircraft rolling or pitching over. Intermediate "Midd" mode also includes 6 axis stabilization, but turns off pitch angle restrictions to allow aerobatic loop stunts. Expert mode turns off all stabilization for fully aerobatic manual flying.
    - Controller also includes a stunt button that allows the airplane to automatically conduct loops and aileron rolls.
    - NEW Auto Takeoff feature enables the aircraft to automatically climb to a safe altitude, and then circle until the pilot is comfortable and ready to take control of the plane with the pitch/roll stick.
    - One key return feature will automatically fly the plane in the opposite direction that it was pointed at takeoff.
    - Telemetry warnings of Low Battery and Weak Signal
    - Very efficient flier. It's 3.7V 400mah battery (size 952030) provides over 15 minutes of flight time.
    - Can be flown with multi-protocol transmitters using V761 protocol.
    Cons
    - Low voltage telemetry warning alarmed late in the flight, right at low voltage cutoff.

31.00 "Why is it doing that?" 😱 From Pascal's Protocol notes ...
"Flip: momentary switch: hold flip(+100%), indicate flip direction with Ele or Ail, release flip(-100%)" 🤔
    I.E. Don't leave the switch thrown/held. 😉😂

I didn't. I only momentarily flipped it, then immediately returned it to its original position.

Love these little warbirds but they are so squirrely out of "safe" the best "mini" war bird is tha xka280 p51 mustang👍🏻 however horizon just dropped a new mini warbird p51 mustang more around this size and it flies great in manual mode👏🏼 about time someone has made one that does 😁 the xka280 is bigger then them but still sub250g and is my favorite great review man✌🏼

If only Volantex would take their gyro stabilization system one step further to include stabilization for wind gusts in manual mode. The way it is now, there is absolutely no stabilization in that mode. That makes these tiny birds unflyable in manual mode in days with any wind.

@@Quadcopter101 so true😁 I would love to see you check out and review the 2 that I mentioned I think you would love em✌🏼the new warbird from horizon is the same price as this one also a rtf and just a tad bigger however the xk a280 is larger but that thing flies on rails! ✌🏼
