That was painful to watch her eyes practically rolling out of her head, stumbling and fumbling the words, and cracking herself up well before getting the words out. I think it's universally understood that women don't go to the bathroom alone. So unless the story involves the two of you going in an alley or something, you're fine.
Women go to the restrooms together for safety.
I was gonna say I don’t think the story is inappropriate, but unnecessary for this reason, unless she uses a more personal story about a time they went to the bathroom together, it’s not gonna really add anything imo

i think it depends on the audience...? mentioning going to a normal toilet together would be considered kind of tame, maybe even boring here 😅 peeing down an alley together would honestly be more of a hit - it's a funnier premise.
The bride's maid speech at the end is next level. One that won't be able to be made for (hopefully) a long time. If this bride's maid actually lived with the couple for a year plus during the pandemic, there is some real knowledge here about the ins and outs of the couple... She knows him way too well due to this fact. And he is so on board with all of it. Priceless.

The last one was so good! Both her roast and the son that roasted his mom were the kind I like, just a lil roast, funny and not truly hurtful or embarrassing. Also, the one where the son roasted his mom- omg her wedding was gorgeous! Her dress, her hair, the decor, especially the flowers were all beautiful and elegant.

I used to work with a friend who did stand up comedy on weekends. He was great at coming up with witty remarks. I was listening to the radio at work when it was announced that 5 men had broken out of a local prison and were still on the loose. Bob heard the report, and said, "Hey that's great news for you!" I looked at him, confused, so he explained, "Now your dating pool has increased!"
My first husband was a criminal with a nine-page rap sheet, but I didn't know that until after we were divorced. Bob got me good!

My very first job was working in a daycare and I will NEVER forget what my coworker said to me this one time. She said: 'Babies be rude!🤷" 😂😂😂 I've never forgotten that because as simple as the lesson was, she was SO CORRECT! 😅
As a parent, I personally love the stories told by my sons’ friends and the “dude, that’s my mom” that follows shortly thereafter. So, I guess it depends on the parents on the stories that you tell. My favorite when I was semi-lecturing them on calling girls ho’s while flipping through their high school yearbooks. When I mentioned that they hadn’t called any of the guys ho’s, they said it was because the guy-ho was sitting in the room with them… my younger son. The look on his face still makes me laugh.
My son Shiloh just turned three today, and we watch your channel so often that the first thing he says when I open RUclips in the mornings is "Sarlit!" I guess I just wanted to say thank you for fostering this adorable part of our days. We are grateful for the moments 😄

Charlotte, I have done a speech at my sister's wedding and the advice I have is practice, practice, practice! Because you will probably start crying while giving your speech if you are anything like I am. I made my own sister cry at her wedding, thankfully they were happy tears!

I wore all black to church one time and someone actually said “are you going to a funeral” and I said yes and it was the best! I was not going to a funeral but it was wonderful, I had been waiting years for someone to ask me, I wear black all the time
I legitimately wrote my best friend’s maid of honor speech the morning of her wedding right after I did her hair. She got me back though and did the same for my wedding 😂

@lotstodo I've actually always had issues with gaining weight. Im 4'11" and 100lbs soaking wet. Can't donate blood or plasma, couldn't join the military out of high school like i wanted to. Not for lack of trying either, i can pack away food like crazy.

I feel like I've seen at least 20 different tutorials on how to turn old jeans into bags, so the knowledge is definitely out there. (Which was kind of the origin of those bags, I'm sure. Leave it to Zara to just start making them from scratch.)
we made jeans bags in primary school. WE used old jeans from our dads. It was easy and I kept if fairly long to test rhinestone designs and store my craft supplies

The reason his mom's wedding was so good is because she told everybody she had no money.
You don’t have to roast during a speech. I got very sentimental for my best friends wedding. Not a dry eye in the house. We’ve known each other since age 7. And she’s one of the few friends I have where I can remember exactly how we met and my first words to her. We are both black and native Americans. (I got a few more nationalities, but those are the primaries). But she had these long braids, down to her knees. Thick like rope and yes it was her real hair, we predate weave, lol. My first words to her was a question. ‘Are you a princess? ‘ That’s how I opened my speech. I followed up with ‘I’m so happy that today I can say she is a princess, who finally found her Prince.’ I said this through some pretty heavy tears. I was so elated for her, my tears were so joyful. She is hands down the sweetest, kindest, selfless person I know. Never even heard her raise her voice. All of this was said in my speech. She remembers it, and reminds me often. So it doesn’t have to be a roast, just make it memorable and special for her. You got this Charlotte!
As someone who was a once a Bride, I was asked by someone what vibe I wanted my day to be like. It was such a thoughtful question because I knew I didn't want a funny roast type of day where I entertain my family members like an audience. To be honest, I just wanted it to be me & my husband (but we compromised on 20 people).
I wanted a more serious intimate day. Not to say there weren't a lot of funny moments. But they came naturally & didn't feel forced or cringey.
If I were a bridesmaid about to give a speech, I would personally ask this question to the Bride I was going to be there for. Who knows she may be so stressed about her day, has scheduled so much for everyone else, & just needs to hear sweet supportive words.
Or maybe she wants her day to be light-hearted, silly, & full of roasts, jokes & laughter. To each there own honestly.

I grew up as a military kid, i have a lot of military friends (either currently in or vets) and roasting is a love language for those folks. Not kidding at all. Pranks, Jokes, Roasting, their way of expressing like/love.

Regarding the synchronized pees, I think it might be funny. Especially if you both end up doing it on the wedding day. My husband and I have synchronized poops (luckily two bathrooms too). I think it shows how close y'all are. If women can sync up periods with their besties, syncing up bathroom trips seems like the next logical step 😆

I took two years of German in high school but have forgotten most of it. Funny, I still remember lyrics to songs I learned in German over 45 years ago. I love singing "Stille Nacht", the original version of "Silent Night". The lyrics meaning are a bit different from the English lyrics, I think the German version is more beautiful.
Another song I love in it's original German version is "Mackie Messer" (Mack The Knife). It's such a cheerful, swinging tune about Macheath, the serial killer!
Oh! That purse part! Someone is missing the nineties! 1) the heart bag - my barbie doll had that purse! 2) the spike thing is like the top we had! The stretchy popcorn mess. 3) denim bag - as the schoolbag that I made from my old jeans and thought was cool at the time - it was horrible, but still seems better somehow. 😊😅
