      Hello Dennis. Thank you for your comment. I quite like using hacksaw and file to fit pieces together, if it goes wrong though, then my level of keenness reduces quite a lot! Take Care Jim

    The tip using the clamp to stop chatter was something I took away from this. Thanks. Will this finish in 7 parts?

      Thank you for your comment. I’m still working on part 7, it should be the last one in this series, but I haven’t finished yet so I’m not 100% sure. I have been away for three weeks which has put me behind, I’m hoping to catch up soon but have some paper work to do first. Using clamps to stop chatter when hacksawing was one of the first things I was shown during my apprenticeship, it’s a useful technique.
