When I saw a recent Al-Jazeera Documentary on the smuggling of Zimbabwean Gold to Dubai, I almost chocked on the tea I was drinking when I heard the name, and later saw the face of our infamous "kinsman", Kamlesh Pattni, doing the exact devious things, but just in a different friendly country, Zimbabwe! It was a case of *the very same monkey, but just in a different forest,* literally.
The circumstances were so similar to what Pattni and his powerful corrupt rulers did to wreck the Kenyan Economy, that it got me asking myself:- "Just what, is wrong with us, Africans?; Are we genetically adversely programmed for theft, impropriety and lack of vision?"

However, the story makes me almost physically sick. I know scores of akenyans who struggle to find even 300 sh a day to try to feed a family. And the people in this documentary are laughing at them. Basically, laughing at 98% of the Kenyan population.
I never understood Kenyans patience with and reverence for their looting politicians. And in general for any big-time thief.

The rungu was tarnished by Moi. Jomo Kenyatta carried it and intended it to be a presidential standard for future Kenyan presidents. It was the only unique and original presidential standard of its kind in the world as all other world leaders use special flags as standards. Moi tarnished a lot about Kenya and I hope people see his rouge existence as an evil and curse upon Kenya

What's scaring me about that guy is not even the wealth. The maandamano times showed what he's capable of. Human rights groups like Amnesty Kenya said that about 30 people were shot point blank using pistols, by guys in civilian clothing. I saw the videos and they're proper Armageddon horror. Most of those deleted were innocent people, going about their day, posing zero threat to anyone. Most platforms strike down such. Martha Karua said the number was closer to 50. I believe her, especially due to watching her go against the govt in 2009 for killing at least 500 suspected mungiki. She believed the actual number was ~ 2,000. Successive govts amassing personal wealth instead of availing opportunities for young people. Unless something drastic happens, premium tears await the youth of Mt Kenya, who have been jumping from groups like _Mungiki_ to _Bottom Up_ looking for belonging, meaning and money.
