I bought 4 Daly BMS's on AliExpress from a store called Daly Franchised Store. They had the same price of the original store, except they offered free shipping. 3 of them has been working ok for now (about a year) but the last one just failed on me after just 3 cicles. The voltage was reading different from the cell pack. I then swapped for the ANNPower BMS like you recommend and let's see how this one goes.
Looking for a quality bms for my e bike build max 100 amp. I've heard Daly has a high idle draw which i don't like. Seems like jbd or jk are the good choices.
Is there a BMS for “automotive style” 12V batteries that can handle the starting current and charging voltages of an alternator? Would like to build one for a power sport application using NMC or LFP depending on what is available. Always thought a small BMS that could drive a relay/contactor for LVC/HVC could be viable also, might there be anything like that avalible?

Yes, Daly has actually recentlly released just that for large starting current for 12V and 24V 4000A peak (300µs)

I never buy a bms from Ali Express, or Alibaba. my house burn down by a bms over heating.
What BMS was it? You should of installed fuses
@Tomas-ml9nv Where exactly would you put tge fuse, I have been thinking of connecting each battery with fuse wires? What are your thoughts in this? 😊
@@rickstard73 a fuse would not help if a cell caught fire du to overcharge.
