  • Im talking about EM3EV spotwelder, and this video:
    • A look inside Ericsson...
Im still confused about the capaity:
Its clearlly 13S, and its 20P. Maby i was mistaked and it's not 21700, then its probablly not 50E, and there are 100's of cells which are blue and white. The case says 50A, so the cells are only 2,5Ah.

These are often used for backup power in telecoms network equipment, telecoms kit often works on -48V DC, I don't know the full reason but I believe it relates to galvanic corrosion resistance when used in outdoor equipment enclosures. The reason for the Off switch being flat is to avoid it accidentally getting knocked off when working in the vicinity, I believe the switch also acts as a circuit breaker in case of overload
The A and B ports are CAN-bus, you can link multiple battery units together or link them to a CAN-bus controller of some sort, we use ours with an Eltek rectifier which supports communication with them.

I work for an ISP and we're about to deploy two of these units, I'll let you know if I notice anything interesting about them :)

One of double cables connected to the busbar is probably a thermistor for temperatur sensing. Not a great location but also not bad.

Whithout seeing the video further than to 1:52, A and B must be Ethernet ports with dustcovers in them.

They didn't want the product to be called an incell any longer. Hmm 😂
