Wow. After watching this I think of the 7 P’s. Proper planning and preparation prevents piss poor performance. I would die from embarrassment if I had to call for a rescue for a non serious injury. Being tired and/or thirsty is inexcusable. These no injury rescues should all be billed to the responsible party.
So so many of these are slip & fall incidents, and I don't think anyone is immune--I've certainly had my fair share but have been lucky none of them were serious. My "notes to self": wear grippy shoes, make a conscious effort to slow down when descending, plan routes to take the gentler if longer descent, work on ankle mobility (Chase Mountains is a hiking fitness guy on RUclips with great advice on this). Does anyone have other suggestions?
Also the population is generally aging and wrapped up in the internet as well as more hikers than there used to be. In olden days these events were only about a third of what they are now.
Do you have a total number of rescues for the year? It is amazing the job the rescue teams do. We have had them up to the hostel a couple of times to talk to our guests. It is always very informative. Dianne
Smashed my elbow in a bike incident in November but that was in the city and an ambulance, dial 911. Surgery! But now physical therapy until March. /Monteggia’s fracture.
@ Yeah that's possible, but she sure gives a lot of information without looking at notes and she does it very smoothly....Almost like a news anchor.....
What happened to the series that every Friday we would get weather updates, trail news....????? you seem to be a little all over the place on your content.
Taylor you know I never had kids, I just don't know if I could handle all that responsibility! And work! Raising children is quite a ordeal that's for sure... of course I could tell just from watching your videos over the years that you would make a great parent... I'm willing to bet that that little little baby could use a playmate or two.. Just saying....😂👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻 OK enough comments for today I have chores to get to!!!🤯
These vids really instill a "safety first" lesson for me. Thank you!
Really enjoy this series! Well, I don't enjoy people being hurt and needing rescue but awareness of the happenings here is appreciated.
Another great video. Wow! 30 rescuers for the one rescue. Dedicated people.
Happy new year everyone!!!
Good to see you again. Thanks for taking the time to share these stories with us.
Happy new year🎉. There is a lot of activity I in New Hampshire! Very informative. Happy trails.🤘🏻🥾⛰️
Happy 2025 everyone! I like the graphics you use on the map details. 👍 Keep up the great work Taylor, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series. 👏
That's a lot of rescues in such a short period of time
Am wondering if that is typical?! Thanks for sharing these!
Extra food and electrolytes seam to be a common theme. This is why you drink Element.
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Super interesting, Taylor. Thank you

I’m thinking maybe bowling.
Nice work Taylor, people need to do rescue before hitting the mountains watch videos etc.

Broke my finger on Lafayette, long hike back down.😅
Hello from 1904 Electric Company House in Brunswick, Maine, US
It must be so embarrasing to be carried out on a litter. Especially if you don't have like broken bones.

Hello Taylor
I like my hobbies more and more when I watch these.
Taylor, I'm just curious on how you can keep talking and giving out all this information??? Are you reading off a Teleprompter of some sort? 🧐
I'm guessing that she has a dry erase board or some poster board cue cards.

@@leedanielson7452 true but I suspect that the video is still spliced at the start of the dates. Maybe not all of them but probably some of them.
@@daleaustin5701 You are probably right...
Taylor will probably share her secrets with us tomorrow...😂

I am all over the place. Lifes been crazy and I'm filming content when I can. I'm working on getting more consistent in 2025.
Taylor I'm sure that little baby has something to do with your daily routine....😂
@@leedanielson7452 haha just a little!
