I like how Imhotep shows respect for Alex and even Rick and Evie by some degree, when he recognizes his talents. Don't get me wrong, he's still an a-hole, but he isn't unnecesarily violent and I genuinely believe he had no intention of harming the kid. I wish we could have got a proper third Mummy movie where Imhotep actually joins the good guys fighting a new common enemy and redeems himself, finally being able to rest his soul and break the curse.

This movie, as well as the first one, has a perfect balance of romance, comedy, action, thriller, and fantasy! Very well made movie. I love the actors and the relationship between the characters! Outstanding!

That was originally planned , for Imhotep to be a last resort ally against the Dragon Emperor, unfortunately it was scrapped
