I kinda feel MM was rigged in favor of Sonic. The blades are put behind the main stage and then come towards the stage. He could then put all 4 blades together when they come down and then KO Sonic by flattening him.
@@dannychan6202 sonic is like the speed of sound so if they come onto the stage and sonic just moves away the things are heavy as fuck and the sonic just hits him 4 times (yes it’s the final boss and it’s 4 hits less)

Honestly looking back at CD, none of Eggman's mechs were really good ideas. Especially the one that provided Sonic air bubbles to survive underwater. XD

After watching the other two, it's really easy to see why Mike Pollock, though a very good Eggman in his own right, will never touch the glory and perfection of Deem Bristow.

I was going to argue that If Eggman would win in just one, wouldn't he win in general since Sonic has to get through every fight anyway, but then I realized you could argue that he'd straight-up die if some of his inventions failed too badly. Yay video game logic!
The realistic thing to do during the race was just to keep the door closed and just shoot Sonic as he ran straight into the door.
Eggman:Why you little....... (shoots metal sonic with a laser)
Eggman is smart, right? So if it were realistic he would use his intellect and just shoot Sonic with the laser in the Vs Metal Sonic race. Or better yet, use a decoy to fly over Sonic so Sonic thinks he will run away and be fine, then when he does hypersphere just sit there with the real laser so he just runs into it and dies. Or just never open the door to the next room so Sonic accidentally runs into it at Mach 5. Or...
There's too many ways Eggman could actually do this, like doesn't he canonically have an IQ of 300? My Iq isn't that high and I can think up how to kill Sonic.
Welp, I think the biggest problem with Eggman is his ego. :P He could probably kill Sonic, but his ego always seems to get in the way. It's how you end up with overly complicated plans and such. Plus, he wants to be able to gloat. Stardust Speedway is an excellent example of it. He could have killed Sonic while he was showing the laser. The race itself was pointless, but he wanted some way to shove it in Sonic's face that he lost at his own game, and that Eggman had made a mechanical copy that was better than him. It was another way of gloating because of his ego, but that messed him up.
Even eggman got a taste of his own medicine
Now try doing this with Sonic Mania, I dare you.
I love you fast Sonic runs in his "race" against Metal Sonic. Totally taunting and laughing at Eggman, to think that he could honestly imitate the real thing. Also because it actually shows Sonic as FAST, which....the early game, despite being better platformers than the modern games, really don't do a good job at keeping Sonic true to his namesake.

Why did you use the bad future background for the Stardust Speedway area instead of the good future background like the rest of the areas?
Also in the same area, when the door opens and closes, it seems that it has somehow reopened when Eggman fires a laser at Metal Sonic.
Sonic CD would be more overrated if he has all these realistic things:)
