How much can a crested gecko develop in terms of color and morph during the hatchling to juvenile stages? I know it can vary but could I expect a harlequin (dark base and orange secondary) to change a lot with SuperPig and just maturing?
I saw the title of this video pop up in my suggestions and immediately had visions of the MIB descending on you lol. Congrats on being so far above their standards. Shame you had to go through the undeserved anxiety beforehand.
Any idea when axanthics will be more available on the market? Or are you waiting for the gene to establish itself in a number of animals before that happens?
Its just a matter of more people breeding them, its a slow process. The demand for them is so high it will be years before there are enough axanthic in the world to produce the number of offspring needed to fill the demand.
I don't know about anyone else but with head phones his swallowing between sentences drives me crazy. But hey I'm still gonna watch all the way through.
I just had to add something not to toot my own horn but are baby geckos are so desensitized to loud noises like we yell around them and there bins are moved around and are loud when they close lol I just felt like telling this small story I had a baby out while cleaning the other day and I was holding one of our newer babies and next thing you know my boyfriend comes over and just man handles it and then it decided to jump and it fell from like four five feet tell into his tank lol and instead of dropping it’s tail it just licked it’s eye lol
That's how mine are. I have three young children that are loud and rowdy and we handle the geckos often too, and none of mine have every dropped a tail. Not a single one. They're just built different I guess 😂
