Just did a similar take on a missing drawer. (It might be down in the cellar!) As you know, on old wooden furniture, drawers only fit in their original space and my 2nd drawer was AWOL ! SO, YEP, MADE A SHELF, stained drawer fronts and top, painted sides, removed ugly skirt/feet on bottom, updated with metal feet and new hardware! She is once again, a beautiful, usable piece of furniture !
Turned out great. Love the colour and the handles. Initially I though you were going to make the broken top drawer the shelf lol. It’s lucky everyone is different, imagine how boring the world would be!
Another fabulous transformation Twitch. Love you videos. I’ve got already got Cookies and I ordered Coffs Jetty a few days ago; so I’ll be using your colour combination on one of my future pieces. I find deciding on colours the hardest part of flipping furniture so thank you. xx

I'm still questioning what happened to the bottom drawer but what would have been really cool is if you had to put a basket there..... Work and I always like your ideas because they're very different
