What sort of pull do you have on the magnets? I've seen a bunch of different types from 1kg up to something crazy. Trying to work out the best option for my wardrobe doors

Should have primed the doors before topcoat, that would have made the paint not sink into the raw MDF

Thank you, what a great idea. I am moving soon so I will try recycling the boxes covered with outdoor water resistant canvas. It does frey a lot but I think a thin layer of glue over the finished edges should solve that problem. It would aslo make for easy cleaning, just a wipe over with a soapy sponge.

This is exactly what I've been looking for! Is 10.34 pm too late to be getting the cruddy hardware out and into the sauce!? Ill be trying this technique in the morning for sure!

I was peacefully watching your video until you said the paint colour was Coffs Jetty. "No, it's not" said my brain. Then I ended up having a discussion with myself on the paint colour versus the colour of different parts of Coffs Jetty versus possible variations in screen colors. Once I finished that, I rewound to watch what I missed until your pair of swans at the end. (Or should that be mutton birds,or seagulls?) I agree the original fabric was gorgeous and it was a shame it disintegrated. I have found that fabric that has had years of dust embedded will disintegrate when cleaning attempts are made. The fabric you ended up with suits the timber finish very well. Great job.

I am so surprised because I usually don’t care for distressed or unusual furniture but this, this for some unknown reason to me spoke to me and made me smile. I so enjoyed watching you go through the process and come up with plans on the fly when you discovered something you originally planned wouldn’t work out . thank you so much for sharing this!

if your referring to the tool that you used to drill the hole , it isn't an impacted driver , its a drill, with the facility to adjust the torque setting so as to prevent stripping the material and or threads on the screw
