Really enjoy your videos and commentaries. Think the pinstriped backboard looks really good and the tip about painting the masking tape with the same background colour before adding the final colour is something new l have learned. Best wishes Alison
I really love this bookcase. I have 2 similar bookcases that I would love to paint in this style. Just have to convince hubby to let me paint them.

The pin stripes don't seem worth it, but IRL, it brings the whole thing together. Another great call. The green frog tape is the best but still the paint trick is still needed. LIKE

Very cool. A chat on your nail gun would be nice, I’m thinking of getting one but not sure I would use it all that often, are they worth it? How hard to reload?
Not hard to reload at all. I love mine.
I did have the ryobi staple gun but it was too heavy for my stupid weak wrists so I swapped to a smaller one.
I've used mine a lot and as you can see, makes reattaching backing boards so much easier

I've painted 2 bookcases using a brush with sufficient years in between to have forgotten what a pain in the butt it is. About 5 minutes in you think why did i start this?
