Very inspiring. It is a bit sad that Diego and his mission to inject art back into society and his immense talent and history in art are not so memorable now. Frida is the one I learned of before this and she is quite amazing based on this as well. They are both very compelling and I like how Frida did fashion design for herself. I always wish I could design clothing too. Maybe it will happen one day.
I do love the story and a great lecture. Thank so much. It was more than studying, it was fun! I cannot understand how they made a center without art. Life itself has colors. There is plenitude in art expressions. There is love, there is essence, there is creativity, there is even pain or sorrow. Lots of gratitude. Indeed.
He comited a mistake when he said, in the minute 56' that the Girls Who was burnt, was Marcela Violante, Instead is The Nefiu from Luis de Carbajal Gobernor from Nuevo león in and probably founder of that state in 1581. Marcela Fernández Violante was born in 1941 she is 83 years old.
Both were 2nd rate artists that are only amazing to certain populations in central and south america. Listening to the speaker was like pulling teeth. At 1.5x speed, it still sounds slow. It was good to see some photos and videos. All goes to show how overrated they both were. Childish drawings abt your pain doesnt make you a world class artist.
Wonderful. Thank you.
I enjoyed this immensely. Thank you!
This episode of your programs I found to give me a truly fascinating warm heartfelt feeling . With thanks and respect , From Robert Of Australia 🇦🇺.

Diego's a titan in the history of art, in the opinion of this art historian. He's up there with Picasso.

heart and soul.... !

It is amazing how Frida eventually became more famous than her very famous husband. She has a cult following all over the world.

Distasteful Gawd danm , this feels like this author is biased about Frida ,she is a wife but not the traditional one !
