the Sony sound is typical of Sony big speakers because the sound doesn't change even though the place is small... different from the JBL Clip 4, the sound is like a small speaker following the small place

I think SONY done purposely to SRSXB100 about the loudness issue, the reason maybe for more efficient and battery life saver. Sound quality is good and balance. But, unfortunately, there is no option to maximize/adjust the loudness in either manual way or via SONY Music app.
