It can be fixed in custom EQ and the bass of clip 5 can crank up a few steps if you increase the lows of it. But too bad in this video they didn't try the app. Just "out of the box" sound.
How does Sony win with only 2.5watts? Im curious as the clip 5 is 7watts so thats nearly 3 times louder and the go4 is 5watts double? I want to buy one of them but can't decide 😂
This is exactly why I don't bother talking about specs like watts. Companies can type anything they want on a website, but ACTUAL performance is what matters.
Because it doesn't win, the Sony is not louder. Indoors if you don't adjust the EQ on the JBL clip 5 then Yes it will sound like the Sony has more Bass indoors. Adjust the EQ and the clip 5 sounds better with more Bass. Outside the Sony just doesn't compare because like you said it only has 2 Watts just can't compete!!
Sony has an EQ with the music center Sony app thing you can change a few settings. I ride my Talaria MX4 everyday all year around and been rocking the xb33 on my bars and the xb13 on my bag my phone lets me run 2 speakers or audio outputs at a time sound is good I'm happy with it would like more bass And maybe more treble. As for the mic It is amazing I have talked with my helmet on doing 40mph and people say they hear me perfectly. But to be 100% honest I went with Sony over jbl for 1 reasons the led lights on the xb33 combined with the ground effects kit on my Talaria MX4 just looks beautiful at night.
Sony has a mic whicj makes it a real winner, the battery life is around double of the go 4 with punchier bass and deeper bass frequency response. The design is better too, no oversized JBL advertisement (i kmow its not made to ne fashionable compared to Harmom style). However the Go 4 is 75 grams lighter and more compact and impressive to give 90hz bass (I own one). Tough choice. PS the sony uses a charging flap whicj is outdated now and also no multipoint connection.

If you travel the sony won't pack as well as either of the JBL's
Compare with a Tribit Xsound go
Sony doing too much promotion..,lol.., the sound is so low on it that u can barely hear it outdoors.., just bass, u cant hear highs..
Bisou
Now I have to replace my xb13 though after 2 years being beat to hell! Rain snow the speaker is finally starting to blow. 😢
Sony wins for bass, the JBL wins on clarity
Gotta go with the JBL Go4 because of the size and shape. Small compact but powerful. Try putting that Sony in your pants pocket.
Battery life sucks compared to the Sony xb100 tho
@@jacobsebastien3910It literally takes only 20 minutes to shower ever thought of that? That's irrelevant.
M a jbl fan but sony is sony ❤

Sony has a mic whicj makes it a real winner, the battery life is around double of the go 4 with punchier bass and deeper bass frequency response. The design is better too, no oversized JBL advertisement (i kmow its not made to ne fashionable compared to Harmom style). However the Go 4 is 75 grams lighter and more compact and impressive to give 90hz bass (I own one). Tough choice. PS the sony uses a charging flap whicj is outdated now and also no multipoint connection.
Stool alignes with bass.
Sony all day every day. 😂
It's a Sony❤
Fake Wilson voice.
We need to see Wilson's FACE
