Hey I got it JBL Xtreme 4 & on outside you still hear & FEEL deep fat bass. This is loud & punching speaker inside & outside for it size. Amazing tech!
Calling out JBL and especially SONY for their awful party chain apps deserve 1000 likes.
dosent sony have the best one? like almost all their big and small connect.
@@turbojobo they are a bit heavy on the bass, but they hold their value well and the series I have you can connect 10 at once. This is a very cool idea but the process can be a bit tedious due to how unfriendly the UI on the dedicated app. The newer models may be more streamlined, but I have 9 of the older models and they all work great. Also not crazy about every one having a proprietary charging cable...

You can roll the Extreme 3/4 strap around itself and use it as a handle.
So can i connect a flip 6 with a jbl go 4? I dont understand the difference between auracast and partyboost

Ive got the jbl partybox club 120 and it comes with a rechargable battery and i wonder when is jbl selling the swappable batteries for the jbl stage 320 and club 120
Should be soon the batteries are properly named the JBL Battery 200 and JBL Battery 400. If you google them the official product specs are listed by JBL online. This means they are coming in either a few weeks or months.
Can you try to connect charge 5 wifi / boombox 3 wifi with extreme 4 and extreme 3, to understand is it doable. As wifi versions were able to connect only with wifi ones.

Upgraded from the Jbl Boombox 1 and Xtreme 2 to a new Jbl Boombox 3 and JBL Xtreme 4. Boombox 1 to Boombox 3, wow, what a difference! Very satisfied!!!
I always use boombox 1 and xtreme 2 together. At home and on the road when I'm in the car. And so, with the B3 and Xtreme 4, it will be the same story.
But here's the thing, pairing B3 and Xtreme 4 together doesn't sound nice if you let them be paired and play together at the same time. It's like putting 2 phones next to each other and trying to play the same song at the same time, but it just doesn't work out in sync.
With the B1 and Xtreme 2, I never had that problem. They sound fantastic together! I ordered 2 Xtreme 4. And tested them both. The Xtreme 4 itself sounds really nice! There is nothing wrong with it.
But once the B3 is paired with the Xtreme 4, it really didn't sound nice. One was worse than the other. There was a slight delay in the sound, and both Xtreme 4 had that.
Also tested in the car.
Noticeable delay in the sound. Very eggo-like. What a disappointment.
So I ordered the Jbl xtreme 3 and paired it with my Boombox 3 with the party boost button.
Problem solved!!
Sounded great again!
I also paired B3 Xtreme 3 in the Jbl app. Also sounded great!
Playing the B3 and xtreme 3 together sounded like old times, just like the B1 and xtreme 2 together. But a big upgrade when the B3 and Xtreme 3 play together is a much richer and balanced sound. No delay or eggo. They can also be much louder together than the B1 and xtreme 2 when paired.
I think the problem with the Xtreme 4 is because it no longer has a party boost button. Since both Xtreme 4's gave the same problem. A pity.
But I am happy with my new B3 and Xtreme 3. They are a dynamic duo together again. They sound amazing together! :)
Is there way to sync Extreme 4 with older gen JBL speakers like for example Extreme 2? Or do you need that app for that? or is it now possible?
It can be done, but it's only through the app.

Right now i have JBL extreme 2 and where i live it gets super cold at winter and i ruined the battery outside and now it only works if i have my charging cable intact 😅 so yeah, looking to buy X4 for sure.
I have a flip 5 and flip 6 it would be cool to know if this xtreme 4 will connect to them. i originally got jbl speakers just for the sound & easy connecting between friends of mine with jbl speakers after watching this I'm skeptical of even investing and promoting such a weird change with the technology.

We've all seen them and unanimously agreed their hideous. Nothing would look as good with your $400 speaker than a JBL designed OEM handle.
Well actually, to my knowledge it's meant to be replaced if the battery degrades. For example, if the battery no longer lasts than 6 or sum hours then you order a new replacement battery to get the longevity back.
Did that with my JBL flip 4, contemplating doing it with my jbl charge 5, extremely heavy user,and i bought it the second it was on sale
After BoomBox 3, this Xtreme 4 is my favorite Bluetooth speaker

Got the x3 for 229, I think that is more of a suitable price range for it also have the charge 5 red that I got on sale for 139 last year

I thank the Xtreme 1 was really made for out door listening because it has even more mid bass performance than my Xtreme 2.

It’s not supposed to release in the US until June. You must’ve ordered yours directly from Japan. As far as I know, these are the only one available, & they’re EXPENSIVE, as in $430.00 - $489.99 EXPENSIVE!

For the price I prefer the JBL Extreme 3 than the 4! The normal Boombox 3 is some cheaper in the Netherlands than the Extreme 4.Than I prefer the Boombox 3
My JBL Xtreme 2 has really good bass outdoors because it has more mid bass.
Forgot to mention the Xtreme 4 has 24 hour battery and the 3 has 15
I prefer soundcore for mid priced speakers, I do like JBL but they must be thinking they are Sony at those prices, I have a few Sony speakers.
I have an extreme3, charge5 and boombox3. At $400 I'm like HELL NO! Id rather buy another boombox... The removable batterie is the best upgrade on this!
All of the Xtreme speakers are severely overpriced and overrated.

I like the design of JBL speakers, but regular dynamic range is a dealbreaker for me. If someday JBL will make a Hi-Res Audio model, I'll buy it if it's not very expensive.
But most I like the design of the new Soundcore line speakers and especially the Motion X600.
Im buying one of these. Now let me explain why I won't be getting the boombox 3 or the boombox 3 wifi. 1, I need something I can carry all over the place, whether it be to work out or to bring to work and play music while I shut the place down. The boombox is too big to bring in front of the guest. And I'm pretty sure the managers wouldn't appreciate that. Because I share the house with my parents and cousins. Boombox 3 would be too much. The highest I can go would probably be the xtreme 4. This is why I feel this speaker is for me. Once I get a house alone, I'm buying like 4 boombox 4s. My only thing now is that I don't know how long I have to wait in June for it. Like, please be early in June.

Question how about you try the Xtreme 4 in lfm mode if you hold the Bluetooth button and the minus button for about 13 seconds until all the lights flash then you know your in lfm then try the Xtreme 4 it sounds way better
If you’re not a fan of hearing bass in your music, it’s a nice speaker. If you’re looking for bass, go with the Soundcore BOOM 2.
It retails for $129.99 & literally smokes the EXTREME 4. I’ve watched the comparison videos, & every single person said that the BOOM 2 sounded considerably better.

I agree, I have the Boom 2 as well as an xtreme 3. The Boom 2 is much better. I'm taking the extreme 3 back to Best Buy lol was just trying it out before the 4 comes out). At least now you can find an open box extreme 3 for about $150-170 but sound wise it's not there. Only real advantage is looks? And dust resistants over the Boom 2.

@@PerfectorZY The benefit of the EXTREME 3 is that you can plug it in & get a power boost when you’re inside.
@@jedolivier2688 The boom2 doesn't need the extra boost from being plugged. I'm not price sensitive either. I think the boom2 is just better. I also have way more speakers than just blue tooth: Have two JBL PartyBox 100s, one JBL Boom Box 3, a home theater, and Klipsch the nines in my living room, and Adam T8vs on my desk, and JBL 305ps on my girlfriends desk. For outside the extreme three is meh. Boom2 is much better. Boombox is obviously better but can't take it everywhere. For inside I have speakers (ranging from 300 a pair to over 2k per pair) in every room and the xtreme can't compete even with the cheapest JBL 305ps which will dog walk just about any blue tooth speaker tbh. These should be portable/outdoor speakers, if you have to plug it in it's loosing.

Im gonna be honest. I dont see a worthy price tag of 400 dollars. It isnt "that much" of a difference from the xtreme 3. I find the price to be too much. Just my opinion.
