    • @Phantom-ZER0
      @Phantom-ZER0 9 месяцев назад +28

      Couldn't agree more, Fassbender truly portrayed the perfect young Magneto. The scene with him and Charles on the beach after the bullet hit his spine as well as the speech he was giving in Days of Future Past at the White House to his fellow mutants was pure cinematic mastery.

    • @NorthernTallow
      @NorthernTallow 9 месяцев назад +2

      Even the subtle element that magnetos powers are relatively weak. The guy moving the gun, i felt it hinted at that. I may be wrong but i believe this is before his training with Xavier. Regardless he's supposed to be a slightly inferior mutant compared to old magneto. I felt that played well

    • @Phantom-ZER0
      @Phantom-ZER0 9 месяцев назад +3

      @@NorthernTallow yeah he hadn't awakened his powers till Charles taught him to not rely on anger as his motivator. At this point he wasn't strong enough to even lift a boat. If you compare his strength from the beginning of the movie vs the end, it shows just how much Charles tutelage helped improve his hidden potential.

    love the parallels this scene has with the last scene in the Good, the Bad and the Ugly - three guys facing each other, waiting for someone to draw, the eyes of the three moving to the other and when magneto turns over his forearm to reveal the number it's echoes when the rock gets turned over to reveal the name on the tombstone. also the man with no name.

    As an Argentinian its so hard no to laugh at the beggining that says this is located in "Villa Gesell" 😂 you can see mountains and lakes but in reality villa gesell haw always been a coastal vacation city full of beaches😅

    Magneto never has to put his finger to his head in order to show his powers. I hate that they make Professor X hold his finger to his head when using his powers.

    • @andreasmerkel5717
      @andreasmerkel5717 10 месяцев назад

      Patrick Stewart didn't need a finger to use his power either. I also see this as unnecessary dramatization. Ultimately, it's another sign of the increasingly poor quality of scripts in the current superhero film universes, whether Marvel or DC

      Sometimes both control their powers with just sight, other times they use their hand

    I am German and can only say one thing. If these men had not been allowed to escape from Germany. If all those involved in this mass murder that set the world on fire had been brought to justice and convicted. Then he could have visited her in prison and they would all have been in one place.
    The worst of these beasts, however, would be 6 feet under. I absolutely agree with his way of condemning him. These guys haven't learned anything, didn't want to learn anything, and are no less dangerous than they were in their "young years." As proud of their crimes today as they were back then.

    And it was the same for the older movies with Ian McClellan and Patrick Stewart

    The weird thing about this scene is he just kills two dudes (not counting the bartender) who might have had information to give him. I'm sure he'd kill them anyway afterwards, but just killing them without learning if the guy on the wall still had the ship, where was it based, whether they were still in contact etc. makes no sense. For all he knew, they met the guy five years back and hadn't seen him since, or the ship was just some party they all attended.

    • @daviderickson8699

      I thought that too - you had two dead guys to show you're serious and one survivor incapacitated and terrified. It was very premature to finish him off before interrogating him. The name of a boat your prey once posed on for a picture is hardly as strong of a lead as what the pig farmer could tell you.

      Chabón tampoco. Chabón es como decir tipo o tío en España. El término cabrón se podría decir cómo, no seas malo pero en una manera vulgar. Se puede usar despectivamente o entre amigos de confianza. Lo más parecido que me acuerdo en Argentina sería, "forro".

    I kind of agreed with Magneto in many ways.
    I think Mutants are the Evolution of mankind and that they are treated poorly because of jealousy and fear.

    • @CrysJaL

      they're treated poorly for a large number of reasons and justifications that border on the ridiculous even for the setting. Like an intelligent virus that can't infect them so tries to passively turn humans against mutants...
