Couldn't agree more, Fassbender truly portrayed the perfect young Magneto. The scene with him and Charles on the beach after the bullet hit his spine as well as the speech he was giving in Days of Future Past at the White House to his fellow mutants was pure cinematic mastery.
Even the subtle element that magnetos powers are relatively weak. The guy moving the gun, i felt it hinted at that. I may be wrong but i believe this is before his training with Xavier. Regardless he's supposed to be a slightly inferior mutant compared to old magneto. I felt that played well

If you compare his strength from the beginning of the movie vs the end, it shows just how much Charles tutelage helped improve his hidden potential.
Thats why making a mark they cant take off like a military uniform was a great idea. Makes it impossible to hide if you have a nice scar in the shape of a swastika on your forehead..
I like how in the modern day movies it's Wolverine, Professor X, and Magneto. And in the past movies it's Professor X and Magneto that are fan favourites and the ones they got right.
Fassbender would make a great candidate for the next Bond if he was maybe a decade younger. Regardless, they probably want to go with a black Bond or something else to switch it up. And I can't blame them, after six white male Bonds.

One of my favorite little details about this scene is that when the Pig Farmer draws the knife and tries to stab Eric, he's able to stop the blow WITHOUT USING HIS POWERS. It's a nice little touch that shows that even without using his powers this Magneto is still a serious badass as a younger man.

Magneto never has to put his finger to his head in order to show his powers. I hate that they make Professor X hold his finger to his head when using his powers.
Patrick Stewart didn't need a finger to use his power either. I also see this as unnecessary dramatization. Ultimately, it's another sign of the increasingly poor quality of scripts in the current superhero film universes, whether Marvel or DC

I am German and can only say one thing. If these men had not been allowed to escape from Germany. If all those involved in this mass murder that set the world on fire had been brought to justice and convicted. Then he could have visited her in prison and they would all have been in one place. The worst of these beasts, however, would be 6 feet under. I absolutely agree with his way of condemning him. These guys haven't learned anything, didn't want to learn anything, and are no less dangerous than they were in their "young years." As proud of their crimes today as they were back then.

I'm sure he'd kill them anyway afterwards, but just killing them without learning if the guy on the wall still had the ship, where was it based, whether they were still in contact etc. makes no sense. For all he knew, they met the guy five years back and hadn't seen him since, or the ship was just some party they all attended.
I thought that too - you had two dead guys to show you're serious and one survivor incapacitated and terrified. It was very premature to finish him off before interrogating him. The name of a boat your prey once posed on for a picture is hardly as strong of a lead as what the pig farmer could tell you.
