Apocalypse learning a whole new world in a matter of seconds is terrifying as hell. It's on the same level as Prof. Xavier's ability to learn a new language in a matter of seconds from looking in someone's brain. @@sundjatamb3061 I wouldn't say one of the most powerful in the marvel universe, but absolutely one of the most powerful beings on Earth. Once you get to the really high end of power where Cosmic Gods like the Celestials, Galactus, Eternity, etc. reside, Apocalypse isn't up to par. The thing with the Apocalypse in the movie is that he's actually shown with abilities that the comic version lacks. Matter manipulation is a big one, and incredibly powerful on paper. The difference is in the presentation, I think. Comic Apocalypse has gone up against massive forces and either come out on top or given a very good showing of himself, and he's been the endgame of entire story arcs. In the end when he’s in the astral plane, he uses his powers. You can tell because his eyes white over. He changes his size and says “you’ll need a bigger house” referring to his enlargement powers he gained from someone through the years
You forgot one superpower at the end: that is Multitasking! He was able to fight multiple of the most powerful X-Men at the same time both in reality and mentally.
Na bro..... listen.. I am no fan of the XMEN .. but I remember watching this movie on a WHIM.. and I was blown away by this character..and THE MOVIE... As in some ways I feel like he's literally the equivalent of THE MOST HIGH... You know the omnipotent ABRAHAMIC ONE. The one lone ruler that knows all and rules all.. especially with all the hieroglyphics...and Egyptian themes. And I just couldn't imagine how they were going to manage to get rid of him. But they did . And THIS MOVIE is where my curiosity for the XMEN STARTED AND STOPPED. 🤷🏻♂️
Ya i loved this movie. The only neg thing was he died in the end. They def shouldve kept it going because he was that good. They shouldve had him creating his new world order
The opening scene of the movie is by far the best of the x-men series. The director should've put a storyline with regards to the 3 powerful mutants in the scene or perhaps a bit more of the transformation ritual.

I LOVE how in spite of all his powers he loses when she finally let it go of her supreme energy " unleash your power.. let it go!" it's my favorit line in a sci-fi movie ever!
what people don't realize his Apocalypse original ability is molecular manipulation.. Also that he stumbled upon a wrecked Celestial ship and enhanced himself with Celestial technology/knowledge at the price of "they will be back to collect what hes borrowed".. Apocalypse by all means has celestial superpowered superpowers.. Even though he never seems to get his big moment i do laugh because every time shit hits the fan not only are mutants incredibly diverse, powerful too, X-Men comics have the one hero/villain nobody beats, Jean Grey.. and that always understandable lmao
@@juliuscaesar6994 Yes, you are right, his original ability is self-molecular manipulation; he can control only his body's molecular structure. This granted him immortality, size alteration, biomorphing/shapeshifting, healing factor, superhuman strength, durability, self power manifestation. His abilities were further augmented by celestial tech and cable's techno organic virus. The main difference between Apocalypse and this movie version is he has molecular manipulation and no celestial tech. So an opposite of his self-molecular manipulation ability.
If Apocalypse can absorb information through TV then imagine the knowledge and access to technology he'd have if the Internet had been around. He'd be able to cause a literal nuclear apocalypse with nothing more than a thought.
Dude young magneto was always such a badass... I mean he was never really evil, sure he would kill without mercy to who deserved it, and lacked the ability to sustain friendships, but ya can’t blame him given his background. I find it so funny though that he always gets help, teams up, but always hides that he is just there along for the ride to get what he needs, more training, had his powers Uber enhanced, then totally betrays them every time because he by nature isn’t a follower.... like here apocalypse couldn’t even sense that Eric was going to turn on him, and you can tell he was never afraid of him, Erik was just cautious and biding his time maybe because the way apocalypse spoke to him was similar to how Shaw spoke to him? Idk... oh and the fight on two planes was pretty cool, I also liked how quicksilver was ping ponging his ass, should’ve been longer though lol
This version of Apocalypse can toe to toe with the MCU Thanos without the infinity stones, just raw power. This Apocalypse has too many power set advantages over MCU Thanos without infinity stones. MCU Thanos has no other super powers at all unlike in the comics, he just have brute strength and agility, speed and durability with exceptional combat skills in the MCU without the help of infinity stones.
if you have read comics, Apocalypse stumbled across a wrecked abandoned Celestial ship.. i wont go into detail because its a lot but he is the original mutant with celestial superpowered superpowers.. every power/ability, the knowledge he has is enhanced to celestial level.. so when shit hits the fan X-Men have the one mutant that nobody beats, Phoenix Jean Grey lmao.. dissapointing he never gets his big moment but understandable unfortunately ha aha
Size manipulation was shown in the astral plane scene but many of those abilities stem from his Celestial armor which I don't think he had in this movie.
Its still WAAAAY better than the crappy thanos disney farted out Mcu thanos has No Powers at all compared to his comic counterpart Fox apocalypse is 70-80% comic accurate Apart from the design

Na bro.....
I do think this movie and especially this opening scene is highly underrated
I loved the entire movie

he actually has some insanely op abilities like matter manipulation
what people don't realize his Apocalypse original ability is molecular manipulation..

Gotta admit, that apocalypse building pyramid scene was pretty dope
If Apocalypse can absorb information through TV then imagine the knowledge and access to technology he'd have if the Internet had been around. He'd be able to cause a literal nuclear apocalypse with nothing more than a thought.
And now he's in MCU as Moon Knight. Can't wait!
When I think of Apocalypse & his 4 horsemen, i think of the ones in the 90's cartoons.
😍
I think he is worse than thanos
4:02 this is why
Now imagine him with the infinity stones
I think apocalypse from the 90s cartoon was a way better villain
This version of Apocalypse can toe to toe with the MCU Thanos without the infinity stones, just raw power. This Apocalypse has too many power set advantages over MCU Thanos without infinity stones. MCU Thanos has no other super powers at all unlike in the comics, he just have brute strength and agility, speed and durability with exceptional combat skills in the MCU without the help of infinity stones.
Apocalypse destroys mcu thanos (without the stones)
@@ethanmayer5467 indeed, that's what I'm said.

Really amazing.
Please do one for Magneto.
He has many cool powers including shapeshifting, possesion, change in size & his arm can change to drill or ramp which is not shown in the movie.
Size manipulation was shown in the astral plane scene but many of those abilities stem from his Celestial armor which I don't think he had in this movie.
Its still WAAAAY better than the crappy thanos disney farted out
Mcu thanos has No Powers at all compared to his comic counterpart

@@Phoenix-King-ozai Thanos in the comics is almost low multiversal and skyfather level, meanwhile in the mcu he is like a barely stronger hulk lol
I'm thinking he wasn't the first like he wants everyone to believe... I got a feeling he started out with just the power to transfer his essence to others and whenever he did he collected their power similar to One for All. He's just stock piled the powers until he was the strongest.
