I didn't think the T6 was available in the UK? When I looked at these last year it was either the T5 or T8.
How does the T6 differ to the T5. You mentioned 30mpg on the motorway... Is that good compared to other similar luxury SUVs? Thanks

Sensible vehicle for your needs...and very interesting to learn what your specialist filming needs require in a vehicle.
Love to know what you think of the rear doors. Curious feature is that they overlap/form part of the rear wheelarches, which means that the doors get dirty on the inside edge. I have to remember to wash inside the rear doors on mine when I wash the car. Never seen this on any other car. Wonder if they'll be a rust trap eventually?
How is the sound system? A massive thing for me when buying a car.

@carfection, writing as a caring viewer of everything you post… Of your last 7 car films, 5 are about SUVs, and you have two SUVs on long-term test at the same time! It's hard to reconcile this with driving passion and a love of cars. Long-term tests (done right) are great content that should focus on cars core to your brand and audience - don't just say yes to whatever the PRs want to push. And I appreciate that you use cars such as this for camera gear and shooting but it is not worth diluting (damaging, even) your brand to get a free car. Get a cheap lease on something practical and pay for it by growing your channel with more amazing films such as that on the A110S. Much love.
While i get what your saying, its simply the world we live in. SUVs are the fad now, there's a lot of them and it is normal for them to get them as long tearmers. Also, when it comes to long tearmers it has to be practical.
The Alpine is a nice car but imagine having to haul gear in it?

Hopefully VOLVO has improved it over the dreadful 2015 V40 turning circle.

Yes it is, though I'd be remiss if I didnt suggest the V60 / Cross Country instead.

What’s it like as a road trip machine? Can it be enjoyed on a twisty road? It kinda saddens me that Volvo don’t seem to have any interest in sporty vehicles anymore. The s/v60 polestar engineered is petty damn cool but nobody is gonna buy them unfortunately

How is the smoothness of engine. I hate that Volvo only makes turbo 2 liter engine. I can never live without at least a V6 in a vehicle. Otherwise looks great.
i agree, 4 cyl. are not for me.....i miss the V8 designed with Yamaha

The dog guard just comes with the car. £59k 😂. I paid £55k for my xc90 with most of the extras you mentioned, no way would I pay £2500 for radio.

The driver seat on the R-Design is over bolstered to the point it's uncomfortable.

Air suspension is just silly. It was only invented on passenger cars because some silly ppl wsnt to have too big rims so one has to compensate. As I just said; stupid. If it bresks is costs a fortune to fix. I would rather hsve 17" rims and normal tyre profile, less road noise, cheaper tyres and so on..
