James, what a fantastic film!!! The camera work is amazing. I have only seen one cloud inversion which was great but yours was truly stunning. As ever your commentary and the music add a brilliant extra dimension to the film. Thanks for showing us these amazing places!!!
Amazing stuff, thank you. I can’t imagine how much work goes into videos like this. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, out comes the drone! The BBC would have had several screens of credits at the end, but you did it all yourself.
Thinking to myself 'I really should comment more on some of these videos' as after making a few myself there is a good bit of effort put in, for me to just sit here and enjoy. I especially enjoyed this one. The Mullardoch hills are specially to me as I had a great couple days fast packing them last September and started a wee video making journey I've been on. Always nice to see others doing them. Thanks
Wow James what a video! The cloud inversion is unreal! We were so excited to watch this and it did not disappoint! Would love a video with your camping kit as looking to try this ourselves ! Thanks!
Did these last year but with the loch walk , took me about an extra hour as everyone i met wanted to know what the loch path was like , it was certainly midgie central at the dam in the morning, great vid as usual , cheers from Brechin
Hi James, stunning, what amazing views Mother Nature treated you too. That cloud inversion was epic. It must have been hard to pull yourself away from it. Thank you as always for sharing your epic adventure, all the very best Dave 😀⛰🥾🏕️🏴
I did these Munros in '22 and that Lochside walk back is a bugger. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your walk on these stunning remote Munros. Well done on being an OEX ambassador.
Fantastic James, as always loving your videos. We've been with you from the start, can't believe how the time has gone. Not many now mate. Neil and Rachel
You should camp more often, James - as it's only then that you get these wonderful rewards, of setting sun and cloud inversions - and that one looked as if it was just about the Daddy of all the inversions that ever were! I'm liking the design of your lightweight tent, too, and - aren't you the guy who used to tell us he didn't like wearing shorts?!! LOL.
Awesome video. Very jealous. What a camping spot! Walked them last year. 4 hours from the summit of An Socach to the car was hideous. Wished the boat was running then!🤣 Loving the drone footage.
Hello James, while trying to watch your newest video I stay at Cannich on the campsite, just a stone's throw away from where you were - funny coincidence. The weather is going to be fine tomorrow and we are looking forward to our hike in Glen Affric where we had last been in 1996! I will certainly watch the video when I will have better conditions to do so. Thank you ever so much in advance, best regards from the neighbor glen this time, Martin
@@ScottishMunroJourney We were very lucky, James. First it was drizzling and you couldn't see any mountains through the mist. But on the way back it cleared up and we could see all the munros. A great hike despite of the uncomfortable ground of the path... best regards Martin
Fantastic video in an area with some stunning scenery. I did these the same way with the boat but without the wild camp. I wasn't chancing the loch side path with the horror stories id heard. Definentely 4 to revisit some day.
Wow another fantastic video james. cloud inversion was amazing definitely 10/10. i have followed your amazing journey from your very first munro. not done these 4 yet as like yourself been waiting for the boat to be back in action.
Another great video. I completed these 4 from the dam out and you were correct the path alongside the Loch was brutal. Great idea using the ferry but don’t think that option was available when I climbed it. Nice to see as the views you got coming up to your first I did not get as the last two on my round was on the mist so great watching your footage.
Didnt realise you were an ambassador. Just assumed you fancied a change in gear. Some of the cheaper options perform just as well as the more expensive ones
Great Vid, but that's easy with such a great four munro hike 👍😂 hard to argue against a 10 the area is stunning , the walk between them isn't difficult but very enjoyable and as you said it does feel isolated.. That walk along the Loch is very easy any bad reputation isn't justified, it's mostly gentle undulating and has an easy track to follow for most of it, nothing difficult 😅 How much was the ferry , it's not ran for a long time?
Yeah I nearly went lightweight and done them in a day, but decided on a camping trip 😁 ferry was £40, pricey but worth it for the experience I suppose.. he has no competition 😂
Beluga Lagoon I believe you're referring to. If you like those you're in for a treat, he must gave a 5+ album back catalogue and they're all bangers. An impossible challenge to pick a favourite.
Great vid james i did the 4 munros in 1 walk but i wish i did it like you did but weather was unpredictable, any clues once you finish your munros to keep on filming your mountain walks ?i did lurg mhor recently that hike was up and down ,more fun on a bike 😂
Yeah that must have been a big day! Not 100% sure what I will do after, but I will make videos of some sort 😁 Lurg Mhor is an awesome hill.. Cheers, James
All three 😂 usually on steep climbs I will listen to podcasts, then music when on the tops.. takes the mind off the hard work 😂 but I do also listen to the sound of nature a lot of the time..
James, what a fantastic film!!! The camera work is amazing. I have only seen one cloud inversion which was great but yours was truly stunning. As ever your commentary and the music add a brilliant extra dimension to the film. Thanks for showing us these amazing places!!!
Awesome video, James, very, very beautiful, not a second to long. Thank you very much!
Thank you 😁
Fantastic video. WOW is the only emotion to describe the cloud inversion in the morning, yes it was well worth the overnight wild camp. Thanks geoff
What a cracking film, James! Benefitted from the longer duration and what a cloud inversion we were treated to. 😊
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😁
Amazing stuff, thank you. I can’t imagine how much work goes into videos like this. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, out comes the drone! The BBC would have had several screens of credits at the end, but you did it all yourself.
Absolutely magnificent James. Apart from the pleasure your videos give me, I have to thank you for introducing me to the music of Beluga Lagoon.
Another great video with some nice extras with the ferry and paragliding
Lovely views
Very nice camp. Stupendous views!
Great video James, that cloud inversion sells wild camping itself! Enjoyed the longer video as well. Cheers.
Thanks for taking us along on another great trip James. The cloud inversion was amazing 👌

What a magnificent cloud inversion James! Wonderful scenery and video! Well done!
Thank you 😁
Absolutely another stunning video James. Well done. Looked spectacular..
Well done
Alan
Cheers Alan 😁
Great to see the ferry. And yes, that inversion was superlative.
As always loved watching your latest adventure, Breathtaking views and topped off with a cloud inversion, doesn’t get better than that 👍
Thank you 😁
James, awesome, simply awesome!
Wow James what a video! The cloud inversion is unreal! We were so excited to watch this and it did not disappoint! Would love a video with your camping kit as looking to try this ourselves ! Thanks!
It was a real treat! I am too busy with normal vids just now but will definitely do a video like that in the future 😁 Cheers, James
Did these last year but with the loch walk , took me about an extra hour as everyone i met wanted to know what the loch path was like , it was certainly midgie central at the dam in the morning, great vid as usual , cheers from Brechin
Great effort, they are brilliant hills, Cheers, James

Yes was a tough one to leave in the morning Dave.. a memorable trip for sure.. Cheers, James
Spicy Pork Noodles for breakfast, you absolute animal!!🤣🤣
Cracking video as always, that cloud inversion!!❤️❤️
Had to be done 😂
I think that’s one of your best vids. Choice of music was perfect . You are very lucky with the weather , as always 👍👏👏👏
Thank you, I have been very lucky with the weather so far.. hope it continues 😂 Cheers, James
I did these Munros in '22 and that Lochside walk back is a bugger. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your walk on these stunning remote Munros. Well done on being an OEX ambassador.
I was glad I got the ferry, great experience too 😁 Cheers, James

Cheers guys, nearly there now 😁

Yes hard to beat the conditions when camping 😁 haha I have changed my mind about shorts.. swear by them now 😂
Another excellent YT movie, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you 😁
Great vid, breathtaking views.😊
Wow, magic, great to watch, thank you. 👏👏👏👏
Thanks for watching 😁
Awesome video. Very jealous. What a camping spot! Walked them last year. 4 hours from the summit of An Socach to the car was hideous. Wished the boat was running then!🤣 Loving the drone footage.
Thank you, that must have been hard going! The boat was definitely worth it then.. Cheers, James
Excellent as ever, fantastic little jaunt 👍
Stunning. Gorgeous scenery and beautiful lighting. An excellent video. Good luck with the rest of your Munros.
Thank you 😁

Yes great hills, I would say the ferry is worth it.. great experience too 😁 Cheers, James
Best video yet James. Thanks for the effort 👌
Thank you 😁
Awesome vid, weather gods as always looking after you 😀
They sure do 😂☀️
They are fantastic munros! We did them a few weeks ago now. Did the 4 in a day. Long day!
They are great hills, that would make for a long day! Well done 😁🏔
@@ScottishMunroJourney we took the ferry too, takes a lot of the walk, I couldn’t imagine walking along the loch after doing the four munros!
Wow another fantastic video james. cloud inversion was amazing definitely 10/10.

Yes I agree, the OEX range has been brilliant so far, and like you say it preforms just as well as some of the more expensive stuff.. Cheers, James
Fantastic 😃😃
Class James class
Nice Marsh Violets early on.
Great Vid, but that's easy with such a great four munro hike 👍😂 hard to argue against a 10 the area is stunning , the walk between them isn't difficult but very enjoyable and as you said it does feel isolated..

Really nice vid
Fantastic vid. Loved the ferry approach! But shocked at the cost though - £120 per boat, or £40 each if more than three people.
Yes I was £40, its on the expensive side but he has the market I suppose 😂
FERRY LOOKED BALTIC for a start :) and you in your shorts! Hardy Scot James :) M ☘️
Haha it wasn’t too bad actually 😂 hope you are well mate, Cheers, James
awesome video james thanks
33:05 👌
One of your best! Brilliant! What rucksack are you using? Doesn't look big enough to manage all the camping gear!
Its the Lowe Alpine Airzone Pro, 35/45 bag 😁 deceivingly large.. I had all my gear plus drone etc in it 😂
Another superb video James. What are your plans after the Munros?
Thank you 😁 not 100% sure yet, probably just do some interesting hills that don’t include munros etc, or another round 😂
@@ScottishMunroJourney I’m sure there would be interest in Corbetts, etc. and maybe longer distance trails
Stunning walk especially with that cloud inversion. 10/10 definitely
What were the songs used for this video?
Beluga Lagoon I believe you're referring to. If you like those you're in for a treat, he must gave a 5+ album back catalogue and they're all bangers. An impossible challenge to pick a favourite.
Yes Beluga Lagoon, there is a few songs from the new album in this one 😁

The longer videos are becoming a necessity as the quality is equally brilliant 🏴👌
What do you listen to on these climbs? Music? Podcasts? Books?
All three 😂 usually on steep climbs I will listen to podcasts, then music when on the tops.. takes the mind off the hard work 😂 but I do also listen to the sound of nature a lot of the time..
When it comes to the Scottish highlands "What a view" tells you what you need to know. Taking a wee nip every time he says it is not recommended.
Haha apologies, I was lost for words most of the time 😂
