I also get severe migranes and I noticed that they would be worse when I used to read on my phone on my kindle app, than I decided to get a kobo(Rakuten vers of Kindle) and that paper like screen with warm light is a absolute game changer, I can read so much more and I don't get migranes as fast and as often, also reading physical books is a great option, but to be honest I prefer my kobo❤. I get visual migraines sometimes, but they usually happen out of the blue. Can't for the life of me read when that happens, especially not once the headache hits. I'd advise you keep your glasses on all the time? And reading on a screen may affect your eyes further, so it could be better to read physically and not on kindle, maybe?
Yeah I think it’s better to stick to physical for me! Unfortunately being an author I’m on my computer all day long and I think that’s what’s triggered my migraines but the glasses are for long distance (not reading glasses) but when my vision starts to go due to the migraine they help!
@@Mads_Rafferty ah I see! That sucks. Maybe look into glasses with blue light protection, against the screen? That would work whilst writing, too. I have reading glasses and long distance glasses both, and the reading glasses have a blue light screen protector
