I had actually wondering if I considered going on a career path with machinery and all and maybe I’d actually do well with Union Pacific if I were to attempt to join the steam team.

midwest America has made great progress with 3985 at the moment. They’ve already sandblasted the boiler and received a shipment of flue tubes and stay bolt material. Probably won’t be too much longer until they begin the reconstruction of the boiler but I heard they are planning to work on the springs and the trucks of 6936.

maybe 6936 and 3985 is more likely for what it sounds 5511 is a QC area only engine maybe towards Iowa city once awhile but 5511 wont be going as far @@MasterVideoStudios

@@donsteilsrailfanproduction4014 With the speed donations have come in since the holidays and around the time 3985 arrived with 6936 and 5511 in Silvis there have been a steady pace of donations coming in and then when Christmas came through a whole bunch of donations came in with it was almost 3/4 through the year they were ready to sandblast the boiler now that Christmas is gone by again there’s more donations flooding in and no doubt they’re gonna split the donations in half so far between work on 3985 and 6936. But for sure they’re gonna put some of it to use on 5511. As for when both could be running I see a possible chance of 6936 being operational probably before the summer or sometime in the summer and 3985 should be sometime ready to go probably sometime early or mid time next year
