You should try a weighted cork and just let the jig hange a foot or so below and chug and pop the cork. They will jut the cork on top water in shallow creeks
I throw a small little spinner bait the smallest one I have or the tiniest little one to 2 foot diving crank bait in those conditions and get the reaction strike…. Slip cork I use for one. I’m on my boat in the lake with my markers so I can mark where they are. Keep the boat right there and pull out dozens at a time
Great video Anthony. What type of slip bobber were you using that day? I haven’t seen a slip bobber like that one around here. I would like to have that kind in my tackle box. Thanks, and stay safe out there brother.
Perfect authentic video shows exactly how some of the days go
Thanks for watching it! I try to keep it realistic here!

It does!! I was expecting one to jump out any minute LOL

I find more crappie in creeks like that where the water more/less trapping them. They get smart real quick but they are always there
Interesting!
Be careful not sure what area you fish but mountain lions have been sighted in north Texas this year probably moving through
Caught a mess yesterday from a creek where they were trapped
Nice! I'm planning to scout some more places just like this!
Might not be trapped for too long with this rain.
True
@@Hkru2 They are probably already washed out LOL

What's your hook size? Go 1/32.
Sure, I think so, if use 1/32 oz & 1 inch soft, it should works much better.
You feel like giving a clue where this creek is lol
for peets sake tighten that drag.
@@mikevang1102 nah, I think it actually needs to be loosened
I sure wasted my time watching this.
Thanks for helping the algorithm!
