Oh gosh no, I'm going to either hard anodize it or cerekote it and add some silicone pads on the palm side of the hand to help with the grip. Probably leave it shiny aluminum colored, not polished chrome, just shiny.

I remember, when i was growing up, i always thought they would grow up back, like hair, or his mustache 😂 and he would have his fingers back again.. then i just started to hope technology would evolve enough to help him get his fingers back.. by the way he’s also a Big Fan of electronics, engineering, technology and mechanics.. Yw, if you don't have access to a laser you can also use sharpie marker as an etch mask. But the rate of failure is a lot higher with that technique.
