And it's sponsored by JLCPCB which can make proper double-sided (or 4-layer) PCBs suitable for 0.5 mm pitch SMT components and plated vias and what not very cheap. I don’t know which would leave less pollution or make less threat to personal health: dipping it in that expensive ‘liquid tin’ or doing it like you, with solder? I went the whole silk screen from photosensitive emulsion course, and really yours is probably even better. I don’t make proper stainless steel screens and stencils, just use the one they sell at the art shop for T-shirts. So whichever route you take in the end will be result of ongoing experiences, and always making use of what you have to hand in a makeshift manner. Thank you very much for sharing this!!

Так и называется - бумага для ЛУТ. Продаётся в радиодеталях. Но можно просто использовать страницу из глянцевого журнала.

The drilling gives me PTSD. That's the worst chore with home-made PCBs, it takes forever, and those tiny carbide bits snap if you look at them wrong. I stopped making home-made PCBs, I'm just sending them over to JLCPCB for manufacturing. Plus through-hole plating for 2-layer boards is a big deal.

Protoype PCBs (if you cant wait a couple of days) are now made with a small cnc router for that reason. Indeed drilling is otherwise a pain, plus who wants to deal with the chemicals?
