Hi! really like you reviews, such detailed explanations of the various equipment that "new picky gamers" can understand, but I need some help as I am new to this "Audiophile world". I have recently acquired an Elagato micarm LP together with Rode ai-1 DAC/AMP, have ordered the Rode Podmic from another seller and have not received the mic yet. Currently I use Audio technica's ATH-G1WL gaming headset and will probably sell it to get some proper studio headphones instead. I have looked at the Beyerdynamic 900 Pro X and think it is a worthy replacement. The question then is, is the Rode ai-1 enough to drive the 900 pro x, will I sort of get everything out of the headphones with the Rode interface I already have? Do a video with IEM’s for gaming please. Headphones kill me and IEM’s or Earbuds are what I can use. I see a lot of recs for FD5 & Blessing 2 but would love to see your opinion & expertise.
It's on the list if I ever get free time again. :) I really like the Audeze LCD-i3. Watch for their June and November b-stock sales where you can get them for a reasonable price.
