Dear God, what are these abominations? First boss I was like "yeah okay, got a giant reptilian-amphibian thing with a cyborg head, seems interesting" but once it got past that, the designs got even more... interesting.
Snes version: much like the arcade version minus many things. Sega Genesis version: features all monsters as playable (execpt the final boss; Famardy), with 3 returning stages from the first game. It plays more like the original game, but it lacks the wrestling ring boundaries.
3 Giant mutated creatures/superheroes, protecting the world as we know it...aside from a few casualties and property damage along the way but hey, no one said being a hero meant you couldn't use the literal world around you to your advantage. Also, this game features very...unique music.
Ammmm.... They... They are not superheroes... They don't try to protect the world they are trying to avoid the aliens from taking control of it since they want to control it by themselves
There's a pretty fun/effective strategy to use against bosses if playing a two-player co-op game with Cyber Woo and Super Geon. Both players need to charge up their special meter, and then the person playing Cyber Woo needs to use the torso-separation attack and the person playing Super Geon needs to use the earthquake attack. Normally, the earthquake attack will hit the second player as well, but because Cyber Woo isn't touching the ground when the earthquake happens, he doesn't get knocked down or damaged, and can float over to the boss while it's knocked down and beat the crap out of it with the rotating punch thing. My friend and I used to use this strategy, and it works incredibly well against most of the bosses.
From what nightmare did the third boss come out? It looks like they took some human features, some reptilian ones, and then arranged them randomly (there's even a pair of eyes in the mouth!). The last three bosses are no jokes either, with the final one reminding me a bit of Alien Syndrome. Overall, it looks like the character designers had one hell of a time here.
I just now realized at the credits, the second boss was a human that lost his life being possessed by that parasite thing. Damn... definitely had some "The Thing" vibe to it.
I remember this game when I was about 9 or 10 years old this game was at Chuck-E-Cheese I wish they had this game still but not anymore I actually miss this game
Played this game on the SNES first, then realized it was on Sega Genesis too. I think SNES version had better music but the Sega version was slightly better because it had a multiplayer battlemode if I remember right.
You have been liking those arcade games haven't you? Hey, since you have been doing a lot of Arcade games, could you do this game called "In The Hunt"? It's a shoot em up made by Irem. It's really good.
Since we're getting a disappointing-looking Rampage movie this year: why not a King of the Monsters movie? Maybe without the Twin Towers facsimile going down in the first level.
No, because they'll probably make the giant lizard a bad guy, just like they made the two cool monsters from Rampage in the villains and made the boring one a good guy.
Feel like Shadowserg is that friend who is good at all games and super chill to own you into 5 different ways and you cant be mad because he is THAT good
now when you say no damage, do you mean from just the boss or from the boss and stage hazards? cause it's forgivable if like a ship or an exploding building take a bite outta your health, they can be sneaky.
I used to go to the Boys the Boy and Girls club in Dale city, VA, and they had this Arcade. Man, there was always a crowd around this game. Hell, even adults were spectators.
Its a coin flip/random. You can win two grapples in a row, but you WILL lose the third one no matter what. Sometimes the CPU can get three in a row, but you will never win more than two in a row. Notice on 2nd boss the player never goes for another grapple after the 2nd one, because he knows he will lose it and take damage.
Me too. I favor the humanoid look, which is why I like Eiffelite, the 2nd boss as well. In the Genesis version, he can toss the orange blob, which reveals a giant, bald, human.
keep one of the three buttons (attack, low attack or jump) and you will make the respective special attack (depending on the evolution of the character)
hold any button, everytime you power up the attacks move up one slot, A is always the latest - strongest move, B second and C last Geon - horn, fire snake, earthquake atomic guy - projectile? - full body projectile - lighting Cyber wo - rocket hands - cannon - split n fly ??
It's from a Kingdom Hearts 2 boss battle, Demyx. At certain points of the fight, you oughta defeat all of his water clones in a time limit or it's game over... and it's as annoying as it sounds.
I never understood how grappling worked in Arcade mode. In the Super NES version, you just mashed buttons to win, but it seems to work different in the arcade version. I thought the outcome might be random, but you seemed to win every time you grappled. How does it work?
in the snes you moved the d pad left and right. in the arcade it s random, but you have the chance to perform 2 grapples per lifebar, the cpu may still beat you to them if you are unlucky. there are actions that raise your chances like hitting the boss x number of times, other drop your chances like knocking down the boss or hitting him while is down. its a very complicated system but sinces its an arcade game and grapples are the most damaging attacks, this ensures that you cant grapple your way through the game
I always thought super geon have some of the coolest and most practical attacks in the game. Its always cool to see the somersault attack and super jump. His flame breath and the range of his normals mean you'll spend less tokens playing this game using him.

Thanks, the end card was covering up the credits where they show all the boss names.
Why did you omit the boss rush before Farmady? That's hard as is!
But damn man, you pro. Great job
Dude, you took damage in the second fight!
Shadowserg
I remembered playing this game when I was young and it's pretty hard, yet you can beat them no damage in time. You deserved a medal.
18:33 even at life-threatening situation, this dollar store Godzilla still trying to act all cool from his victory
Just because it's different doesn't mean it's bad
1:20 Oh they predicted the future

Damn that giant lizard!
Soo the towers were actually destroyed by a rip-off of Godzilla and by a kaiju size deep one with an helmet
Super Geon looks the same as Godzilla.💁♀️
Giant lizards can't break steel beams! It's a gub'mint conspiracy!
Dear God, what are these abominations? First boss I was like "yeah okay, got a giant reptilian-amphibian thing with a cyborg head, seems interesting" but once it got past that, the designs got even more... interesting.
I like how they are kinda funny looking despite being damn grotesque.
Snes version: much like the arcade version minus many things.
Sega Genesis version: features all monsters as playable (execpt the final boss; Famardy), with 3 returning stages from the first game. It plays more like the original game, but it lacks the wrestling ring boundaries.
Yet, the first game's select screen images are far more grotesque than these guys.
The Toontastic Toon I think it's Cyberwoo
yeah that's the name
Ever watched Power Rangers before?
3 Giant mutated creatures/superheroes, protecting the world as we know it...aside from a few casualties and property damage along the way but hey, no one said being a hero meant you couldn't use the literal world around you to your advantage.

They may not be trying to protect the world from the aliens but atleast thay have saved the world from the aliens
Oh god the nostalgia ;-; i love this game , i played it with my brother when i was five
Pd: my favourite was always the dragon(i dont remember the name i was five when i played it)

THANK YOU for making this video and bringing back some fond, fun memories of time spent at arcades. :-)
And thank you for your comment. :)
I loved this and the original when I was a kid, the platform and playstyle were awesome and always hoped they made a Godzilla like this
From what nightmare did the third boss come out? It looks like they took some human features, some reptilian ones, and then arranged them randomly (there's even a pair of eyes in the mouth!). The last three bosses are no jokes either, with the final one reminding me a bit of Alien Syndrome. Overall, it looks like the character designers had one hell of a time here.
Third boss looks to be a send-up of the Ultraman(who himself had a parody in the Player character seen against Boss 2) Kaiju, Twin Tail.
@@TrombeX2 yep, it was a reference to ultraman jack's enemy, twin tail
For some reason, the heads remind me of exeggutor.
If Sid Phillips was an bio weapon developer scientist
Wow. Had no idea this was beatable that way. Only played it a few times at the arcade and felt it was supposed to be a credit feeder.
I just now realized at the credits, the second boss was a human that lost his life being possessed by that parasite thing.
Damn...
definitely had some "The Thing" vibe to it.
I actually I thought that too an I was right lol
that also explains why he has a human skeloten

blown away by the monster designs here. These are classic a/f. Also Clawhead is TERRIFYING.
Boy... That's a lot of pixel work! :P
*the power of the Neo-Geo*
I thought this was a unspoken Godzilla game 😂
Me too
Everybody... Keep your eyes on the Twin Towers between 1:21-1:23. What do you all think?
Played this the other day and I died a million times. No damage is insane.
18:00 you took a hit. But received no damage.
Also a few seconds before that there was another hit. I guess the little enemies don't count?
Nowhere does it say No Hit, it says No Damage, small enemies do not hurt it even if they hit it, that's why it is No Damage.
Whoever the Designers are that made this Game must be Huge Fans of Godzilla, Gamera and Ultraman (Or every Giant Monster/Kaiju Movie and TV series).
Im convinced that there's an 'All Bosses/No Damage' video for every videogame in existance.
Played this game on the SNES first, then realized it was on Sega Genesis too. I think SNES version had better music but the Sega version was slightly better because it had a multiplayer battlemode if I remember right.
Man they just don’t make bizzare designs like this anymore. Video game aliens all look the fucking same now.
I remember seeing this on that show Nick arcade back in the 90's
Wow, they always mopped the floor with me. Shadowserg, thank you!
1:20-1:25 HOLY FUCKING SHIT, THAT’S HARSHER IN HINDSIGHT.
thank you, my nostalgic feelings were begging for this.

Yep this game definitely brings me back memories when I had a Super Nintendo
Can't wait to see u doing cuphead bosses! :)
i played this on genesis. was awesome game. The gameplay mechanics like move speed were different and the music andsound fx were also different.
I would love to have one of those 1990s Japanese sound effect libraries on hand. I swear I’ve heard the swipes in Vampire Savior.
